All cell phones, Android and Apple, have grown way too large. It almost reminds me of the hoodlums in the ‘70s and ‘80s walking around with a boombox on their shoulders, a boombox the size of suitcase. I'm just waiting, any day now, for a cell phone you carry on your shoulder.

The best I saw: Mid 80s, Wyandanch, Long Island, a guy pulling a hand truck upon which sat a fully five foot long boom box. I couldn’t imagine how many batteries the thing took.
