Her and Ernest Borgnine were the best part of that movie.Stella Stevens walking up the ladder wearing only a shirt was the best part of the movie.

Love that movie. Who would think Mr. Roper from 3's Company would be one of the eleven.

Nielsen. only did serious roles early in his career…..I remember being stunned when he changed….even commented on it to my husband.

Is Biden turning our ship of state upside down? I thought he’d already done that!

Is that Joey Bishop on the left?
And the guy to the right of Dean Martin, I think he was part of “the crew” - not the film crew

I’ll never forget the scene where she had to swim through a couple rooms after the boat capsized. Terrible to watch.

Aaaaaand a sinking ship would be building up tremendous air pressure (and heat) in a capsized vessel, so cutting open the hull would shoot them out like a cannon. But it made for a good ending.
Unless they closed all hatches and even heavy hatches can be blown off by a sinking ship. There’s a gif of a ship sinking and the hatch is blown right off.
Scary.

Me neither. But in this case I’m sure what we don’t know won’t hurt us one bit. Happy New Year, and God bless!

The book was much better. It did a great job of suggesting everything upside-down, which couldn’t be expressed as well on screen.
