Putin launched Ukraine invasion while suffering with 'megalomania' brought on by cancer drugs, Western intelligence source claims - as Kremlin admits his health is 'a matter of state security'

Megalomania induced by cancer drugs was a factor in Vladimir Putin's decision to launch his disastrous war in Ukraine, new Western intelligence analysis claims.

-snip-

The analysis comes as the Kremlin yesterday admitted that concerns over Putin's health are now a matter of 'state security' amid Covid mutations and emerging flu strains.

This means the Russian leader may retreat even further from public gaze in early 2023 after having cancelled a series of events and appearances in recent months.

-snip-

The Kremlin has paved the way for Putin to retreat for health-related reasons soon after his annual prerecorded New Year message to Russian citizens.

His spokesman Dmitry Peskov yesterday indicated there were now 'state security' concerns in Russia over Putin's medical condition.

'You see virus mutations, you see strong epidemiological waves of flu of various strains,' he said.

'All of this, given the lessons from the pandemic, obliges those responsible for the security of the president and for his health to take precautions, because in such conditions the health of the president is a matter of state security.'

Peskov said there would be no return anytime soon to Putin's modus operandi before the pandemic, when he regularly held public events and spoke with the media.

'To be honest, it is unlikely that [communication with journalists] will be quite the same as it used to be before the pandemic in the foreseeable future,' Peskov said.

'To expect things to return to what used to be would be a mistake. I would say - no it won't be [back to the same].

'But as these waves subside to their lowest points, then it would be possible to communicate in a freer mode.'

Another day, Another Putin is dying from a new sickness story.

To be fair, I can predict anyone's death with 100 percent accuracy.

It’s really not difficult. Putin and his like are irredentists. They consider Ukraine and all of the former USSR to be part of Russia. They’ve said it themselves and are happy to commit a genocidal mass murder to make it so. Yet still the Kremlin butt sniffers will go on any tangent to avoid the obvious. Pay no attention to their fevered internet games and fantasies.

This is true, but the manner of death is a more difficult prediction, considering Putin is suffering multiple forms of cancer and the treatments are keeping him alive but according to this article the treatments are scrambling his brain.

Yes, it is a hallmark of Zeepers to miss the point.

Come on, Bob. That old claim has been disproved over and over. One would think Putin could have come up with a better excuse, and not have had to resort to an old Hitlerian one.

Pro-Russia FReepers routinely trot out the old fiction that the Ukrainians killed 14,000 civilians before Russia invaded in 2022 as some sort of rescue mission. Those same FReepers engage in the time-honored ruse of the left: Misrepresentation.

The fact is, between April, 2014 and the end of 2021 there were 14,200 - 14,400 TOTAL deaths as a result of the Donbas civil war. Of that number, some 3,400 were civilians. There were also some 400 - 500 Russian TROOPS killed in Ukraine in the first full year of that civil war.

All the wrong people, as one voice, blamed Russia. Still do.

All the wrong people want to send our $$$ to Ukraine, known as a Globalist laundromat.

All the wrong people imagine Mini Z, in his Coup Chic drag, as a “real leader”.

That’s how you know it’s all a lie.

“It was OBVIOUS to anyone following the events there, the including leaders of the world representing 85% of the population (the countries that HAVE NOT imposed sanctions on Russia).”

That’s completely false. We know this by the following:

1) There was no ethnic cleansing in 2014 in Russian speaker areas by Ukrainians - yet the Russians supported rebellions in three regions and even supplied special forces to help accomplish them.

2) Even after that Russian invasion of Crimea and its annexation and the phony rebellions in the Donbas, Ukrainians launched no ethnic cleansing of Russian speakers ANYWHERE in Ukraine.

3) Claims to the contrary are nothing but “we must protect our fellow Germans in the Sudetenland” kind of propaganda claims.

4) Most world leaders rejected the rebellions and Russia’s illegal occupation of Crimea. What world leaders/nations recognized Luhansk for instance? Russia, Abkhazia (a Russian breakaway puppet state separated from Georgia), Syria, North Korea. Only scum like that support your beliefs.

Those 8 million Russian speakers were “about to be cleansed” since 2014. Seems Ukraine is very inefficient with its supposed genocide. Never mind that the vast majority of them were and continue to be perfectly happy to be citizens of Ukraine. Including my in-laws, who somehow magically have not been cleansed, or deprived of any of their property, while fluently speaking Russian every day in Donetsk. Except now thanks to russia they have very little food, no heat and no ability to leave.

It truly is amazing the horseshit that gets spewed on this site by people who probably have never been outside of their home state, never mind the USA and have absolutely no idea what is actually going on in the world.

And what party is "our party"?

Yea, others also claim to have personal connections to Ukraine. I could claim the same too, as there is NO WAY to prove such.

Putin launched the invasion of Ukraine in 2014 and took Crimea, knowing, likely on a direct word, that Obama (and by extension Hitlery) wouldn't do a thing. He launched Part II when Biteme told him it's okay:
THE PRESIDENT: "It’s one thing if it’s a minor incursion and then we end up having a fight about what to do and not do, et cetera.

.... My guess is he will move in. He has to do something"

Q "Thank you, Mr. President. I wanted to follow up briefly on a question asked by Bloomberg. You said that Russia would be “held accountable if it invades” and “it depends on what it does”; “it’s one thing if it’s a minor incursion and… we end up having to fight about what to do and what not to do.”

Are you saying that a minor incursion by Russia into Ukrainian territory would not lead to the sanctions that you have threatened? Or are you effectively giving Putin permission to make a small incursion into the country?

THE PRESIDENT: (Laughs.) Good question. That’s how it did sound like, didn’t it?

from Remarks by President Biden in Press Conference (Jan 19, 2022)
The Administration had already signaled that it was okay to invade by announcing possible US embassy and military personnel evacuations from Ukraine -- in late Nov/ early Dec. of 2021. At that time, the architect of the disaster in Ukraine, Victoria Nuland, stated "the US’ options to deter an invasion are fairly limited." That, my friends, is called a diplomatic green light.

1) “There was no ethnic cleansing in 2014 in Russian speaker areas by Ukrainians”
Never claimed there was - I said it was that Russia PREVENTED such.

2) “Ukrainians launched no ethnic cleansing of Russian speakers ANYWHERE in Ukraine.”
Never claimed there was - I said it was that Russia PREVENTED such.

3) “Claims to the contrary are nothing but “we must protect our fellow Germans in the Sudetenland” kind of propaganda claims.”
Be nice if the American government looked out for their people like Russia does.

4) “What world leaders/nations recognized Luhansk for instance? Russia, Abkhazia (a Russian breakaway puppet state separated from Georgia), Syria, North Korea. Only scum like that support your beliefs.”
Then why didn’t She and Moti (the leaders of the two largest countries in the world), along with 100 plus other countries, join the SANCTIONS on Russia? Answer, because they’re not buying the Western line that the military operation was ‘unprovoked’.

Oh, puhleeze! Compared to that rat crazy totalitarian bastid Zelynsky, Putin is a boy scout. And, I do not mean one of the boy scouts who tempted others into a “camping trip” so he could abuse others.
