My daughters 18th birthday was yesterday. As I was watching her and her friends I began to ponder on things I'm thankful for from this year. What are you thankful for?

I don’t know how my life would be without it.
Me too. At my age when people ask me how I am I say “Still on two feet and breathing’’.
i am thankful for my darling husband-still puts up with me after 45+ years together.
My girls are my jewels. They are such good women.
and i’m healthy for an old broad- this too i am grateful for.
That I’m still looking down at the grass.
Sanity, especially given 24/7 socalled media brainwash injectioning confrontmentationing pushing government nonsensenicallities. And in spite of the blatant election thievery.

I’m thankful that I got to see my grandchildren after not seeing them for three years and that the DIL will soon be the ex-DIL.
Friends, both old and new. I’m thankful that my good friend (from when we were 9, and we’re 61 now...) and I got away for a three-day fishing trip in the mountains. A good reminder that while we all change, we’re all who we are forever. Also thankful for the fact that the president of the company I work for stood his ground and refused to mandate ‘vaccines’. Thankful, of course and always, for living in the U.S., still, while seriously messed up of late, the best nation on the planet. Oh, and my two Kats, too.
Having a job.
A roof over my head.
Getting rid of more debt.
My life isn’t as great as many I know, but I am taking care of things on my own with the resources that I have available to me.
Retirement goes well, greatest girlfriend soon to be wife, new house, stocks took a hit but thats life, good health, kids through with school. Life is good.

I have liberty to work three part time jobs and pay taxes
but truly thankful that I have a wonderful church family and good health
I am thankful for so much, but to top off the year, son and wife had their fourth child - a girl - on December 28th. I am so thankful for another grandchild!

45 years? You are just getting him broken in and able to remember to put down the toilet seat. You are truly blessed!
I watched the Banshees movie that is getting so many rave reviews. I truly thought WTF???? many times while watching it. I guess it is popular with the critics set because of all the subtext

2022 was crap but it could be worse..I could be cutting off my fingers because I dont want someone to talk to me anymore like Brendon Gleeson.
