Under no circumstances that currently exist in American politics should Santos step down. Every media discussion should be turned on its head immediately, talk about the resume lies of Biden, Blumenthal, Warren, etc, etc.
I’m not saying support the guy, just ignore his case until all that backlog gets addressed. In two years either his record in office and his lies gets him sent home or it gets him reelected, and the NRCC can do whatever it wants with supporting or not supporting him, but direct all outgoing fire downrange.

Did Warren lose her Texas law license after she took her DNA test? No. Now the Democrats want Santos to lose his seat in Congress. Was there any demand from Democrat politicians that Hillary resign from her senate seat when she lied about the sniper fire incident?
