After causing an uproar the first time around, comedian and TV host Whoopi Goldberg again claimed the Holocaust was not racial in nature but was an example of “white on white” violence, because both Nazis and Jews are white people.
Goldberg was suspended from her job co-hosting “The View” for two weeks earlier this year over similar remarks during one episode.

Th3y had a show on Siberia once, and the folks took a really long snowmobile trek out into,the wilderness, and way out in the middle of nowhere, there were these abandoned barracks. No insulation, bare necessities, small stoves etc. They were looking for some criminal,that escaped into,the wilderness, and thought he might be held up in one of the buildings, but he wasnt as it turned out. It must have been brutal living out there.
I remember another show where some elderly folks were still living way out in middle of nowhere- not wanting to go back to civilization. Year after year they would make it through the brutal winters somehow, and just keep going on. They were a very hearty group to day the least.

Whoopi was correct. Judaism is a religion, not a race. While most Jews are of Semitic ancestry, there are non-Semitic Jews, including Africans. The Inquisition wouldn’t kill the local bishop of a Spanish Christian church merely because his grandfather was Jewish, unless he got caught practicing Jewish customs secretly. Of course, the persecuted Jews didn’t care whether their persecution was religious or racial.
Why is this such an obsession for her? The Nazis certainly considered Jews to a racial group. Is the criminality of the Jewish Holocaust somehow smaller because it was based on “fake” racism, instead of “real” racism?
