A 17-year-old girl was pronounced dead at a treatment center for teens on Tuesday afternoon — the second case at a Utah teen treatment facility this year.
Around 5 p.m. on Tuesday, authorities received a call about a teen who had collapsed at Diamond Ranch Academy in Hurricane, Utah, the Hurricane City Police Department said in a statement, according to Fox 13 Salt Lake City.
School staff were performing CPR when police and the fire department arrived but the lifesaving measures were unsuccessful, according to the police department.

Yes. Tragic beyond words. No one seems to want to talk about *why* our youth are turning to deadly “recreational” drugs.
Why do our young people despair and seek out drugs that grant them sweet oblivion, even permanent oblivion? The lefties tell them they have no hope, no future, no redemption. Between pushing Climate Change, White Guilt, and atheism, too many of our young just give up. It’s sick and evil.
Very sad.
Things have been getting worse as well. A friend owns a rehab facility.
Then you and your friend know the heartbreaking truth. Local radio gave preliminary stats for ODs earlier today (national, state and county) and it made me tear up. 80% are opioids, and 90% of opioid ODs are fentanyl. Chinese fentanyl pouring through our open borders. Our leaders are either fools or evil. I’m guessing evil fools :(

Street drugs are being made that look exactly like legitimate medicines but they’re really a concoction containing Fentanyl. The people who buy them aren’t looking for fentanyl but that’s what they’re getting.
The cartel labs that make these pills do a lousy job of mixing the ingredients and end up making lethal batches that kill off their customers.
I first heard of this 10 years ago when my co-worker’s brother was buying Xanax online from China. At least he thought it was Xanax and he’d done it before, but this time it was laced with Fentanyl and it killed him. It was a rare occurence back then. Now it’s a common cause of early death.

State officials said a medical issue was the cause of her death, according to The Salt Lake Tribune. According to a Notice of Agency Action issued by Utah’s Office of Licensing, for at least seven days the girl had been complaining of worsening symptoms, the outlet reported.
The related Notice of Agency Action said the girl, “reported continually worsening symptoms of illness for at least a week before, after repeated requests from parents, the program took the client to be evaluated by a doctor. After the doctor visit, the client complained of worsening symptoms but was not returned for medical care. The client died early the next morning.”

Wow. So very tragic. 20 to 30 years ago, you had to worry about getting useless sugar pills when buying on the cheap from Asia. Now you have to worry about getting deadly fentanyl :(
Your doctor was right. Drugs from Japan are safe —they have excellent QC. Singapore is fine, too. If you know what you’re doing, most from Thailand are safe (American manufacturers there with good QC — but fakes around, so you do need to be careful). I would be very leery of any drugs from China. They are notorious, even in the rest of Asia, for drugs that are useless fakes (”sugar pills”), have questionable fillers that can make you ill, or, worst of all, have deadly ingredients. Please, all, be careful. It’s not worth the risk!
How do you find the source for any particular medicine to know?
