Question for Freeper experts.

Every now and then it will happen to me when I have a weak or spotty connection. What happens is that nothing seems to happen, so I hit “post” again. The problem is that it DID post, but didn’t tell me that it did.

same as the music threads... same songs, same little group of people posting them under the same name and the same groupies who hang around sucking up to moderators. just the way it is here i guess....

I am logged in and in my settings I have it set to bring back 250 articles. Every few days it automatically reverts back to 25. It’s very annoying.

I had it happen once.

To a post about an airliner with something noxious aboard (I forget what, now), I wrote “DON’T LET THE PLANE LAND!!!”

It appeared 300+ times in that thread.

Kristinn wrote something funny in response, something like this:

“Before the first 50 posts, I thought you were insane. But from post 51 to about 150, I started seeing your point. At post 151 to 250, I became convinced you were right. But from post 251 on, you have made me a loyal cultist who WILL NOT LET THE PLANE LAND.”

Happens to me sometimes also. Either close the browser window and start a fresh one, or go to the FR home page and click the “jump right in” link. I think both ways work.
