The shipment of the BioNTech COVID-19 vaccines comes after China agreed to allow German nationals in the country to get the shot.
Berlin has sent its first batch of BioNTech COVID-19 vaccines to China to be administered initially to German expatriates, a German government spokesperson said on Wednesday (Dec 21), the first foreign coronavirus vaccine to be delivered to the country.
No other details were available on the timing and size of the delivery, although the spokesperson said Berlin is pushing for foreigners other than German citizens to be allowed access to the shot if they want it.
The shipment comes after China agreed to allow German nationals in China to get the shot following a deal during Chancellor Olaf Scholz's visit in Beijing last month, with the German leader pressing for Beijing to allow the shot to be made freely available to Chinese citizens as well.

Good Grief- ask any Chinese which vaccine they rather have: a western one or their homemade one - Hint no one wants the Chinese one which everyone knows is made by the lowest bidder using the cheapest materials and pays the highest bribes.
China is looking for a quicker way to trim down their population.
Heil Pfizer !!
If I was forced to choose, I’d take any of the others before I’d take the mRNA ones. None are effective and the mRNA ones pose an extra risk.
Bioweapon counter strikeā¦
Thanks to covid vaccine shots, I recovered in less than 2 days from severe infection of covid.
On Friday evening I had fever, every muscle in body hurt, coughing like crazy. I had those free covid test kits at home, so tested and it said positive with those 2 bars showing. I was in panic with visuals of patients in plastic tents hooked to ventilators.
All I did was rested in bed and ate only chicken soup on Saturday. I had neither ivermectin or Paxlovid at home. Sunday morning I woke up and surprise surprise all severe symptoms had disappeared. Only some cough remained for a few day. 1 week later I resumed ny gym activity (every other day).
