PHOENIX, Ariz. – Former television newscaster and failed Republican candidate for governor Kari Lake hinted at violence to a crowd of thousands of conservative activists Sunday, continuing her claim that she had really won last month.
“On Nov. 8, they committed highway robbery,” she said, to chants of “Kari! Kari!”
Lake, who has sued elections administrators alleging fraud, called the Maricopa County elections system a “house of cards” that she promised to take down. “I’m not just going to knock that house of cards over. We’re going to burn it to the ground,” she said. “They messed with the wrong woman. They messed with the wrong movement, of ‘we the people.’ And we’re not going to take it anymore.”
She then told the crowd that the Second Amendment – the right to bear arms - was in danger because of current leadership, and that that amendment protected all the others.
“You do not steal our vote and get away with it. You don’t,” she added.
Lake, borrowing a tactic of former President Donald Trump, attacked the news media, urging the audience to turn around and boo the “mainstream media” on a riser.
“Their days are numbered,” she said.
It was unclear whether she knew that the people she was insulting were actually a production crew for Turning Point USA, the event organizer.
Lake spent much of her remarks claiming the election had been stolen from her. “They had to steal our vote in broad daylight,” she said. “My pronouns are by the way: I won.”

LOL! Oops.
And, gee, I bet the people at the PuffHost were dismayed by the non-peaceful BLM gatherings a couple of years or so earlier (do I actually need to indicate the sarc?).
Lake is going where they are pushing her. Suddenly the left doesn’t like the words “burned down to the ground”. They love that phrase when BLM or Antifa are using it.
Let me see what a “house of cards” really means according to Oxford Languages:
house of cards
phrase of house
a structure built out of playing cards precariously balanced together.
an insubstantial or insecure situation or plan.
“his case was a house of cards until Attorney Jabowski stepped in”
Sounds mostly peaceful to me.
“ Former television newscaster and failed Republican candidate for governor Kari Lake hinted at violence to a crowd of thousands of conservative activists Sunday, continuing her claim that she had really won last month.”
And she was right.
Yes! In the immortal words of the Gentle Giant's father: “Burn this m—f—er down” — “Burn this bitch down!”
We are already in CWII, folks...and violence is already happening mostly against us by democrats.
**failed Republican candidate for governor**
The headlines also added loser.
She was not a loser.. They rigged and stole the election. She has the spine to fight them.. And close the AZ border
I'm talking real violence here.
My enemy tumbled like a house of cards.
The goal here is to control the language. The Left defines what constitutes "violent" language and then outlaws the use of such language by us.
If the Left or the Woke Movement uses such language, it's OK because folks know they mean nothing by it.
For example, when Social Justice Warriors or BLM say something like, "we're gonna burn your effing city to the ground and hang you on a cross upside down by your feet until all your blood drains out of your mouth," they are just speaking metaphorically.

And stock price.
Do you think that maybe there were other “news” outlets on that same riser? They usually group them together. Don’t fall for the half truth lies they spew.
S.V. Date is a weakling.
What a twit ... either cover your face, or take the rag off. Putting it under your chin is just ridiculous.
What greatly concerns me is there are a boat load of naive imbeciles on our side who refuse to acknowledge it.
Where are all the Freeper election fraud deniers on this thread? Surprised by how many of them there are. Most of them are now Trump haters. They have to deny fraud so they can say Trump lost.
I watched many of the speeches yesterday. Hers was excellent. She focused so much on comparing the ages of some of the Founding Fathers to the youth in the audience, as well as the ages of the boys who stormed Normandy. If those kids weren’t inspired by her, I can’t imagine what possibly could inspire.
Benny Johnson spoke before her. He’s a wild man, but also a great speech with some fun memes.
Tucker and Charlie were good.
To me, the event is more religious than political. Everyone was stressing getting married, having lots of conservative children, men being manly... I’ll watch more of it today.
