Finally, my unvaxxed self caught COVID about two weeks ago, and the meeting was uneventful. Horror stories I’d heard seemed even more remote and fictional as I experienced symptoms like a very mild flu. 3 or 4 days cleared it up. I’ve had colds lasting longer.
I’m more convinced than ever that going to an ER and getting admitted is the death sentence.
So, you met my ex-wife did ya?
Could you taste and smell? I’ve had COVID 4 times now. The last time the ONLY symptom was no taste/smell for 4 days. LOL.
Tested positive least week. Slept most of one day, and had flu symptoms for a few days. Minor cough Left. I hear some have it much worse, but just a flu for me. Best of all was I didn’t need a cash-ectomy for waiting rooms, tests, drugs and other useless crap.
My girlfriend got the initial vaccine last year, but no boosters.
I didnâÂÂt get any Covid shots at all.
In January 2022, we both got Covid and it was similar to yours, about 3-4 days of bad cold/flu symptoms, then we were fine.
One of my friends got it in 2020 and he was in really bad shape for about two weeks. He nearly died, but no hospital.
Like some others here have mentioned, if he had gone to the ER, he probably would have died.
Keep the horse paste on hand.
As a friend says “It’s probably more safe than the pills. They don’t want to kill horses, just us.” :)
I think the hospital determined that the lawsuit that would have been coming if they killed her was greater than the government Covid pay-out.
They chose wisely.
It is the remdesivir that kills you.
I’ve had 3 shots, won’t get anymore.
have you had any reaction?
I’m late 50’s, and yeah, more than a little overweight.
Friend of mine in his early 70’s caught it too. He was a little more affected (unvaxxed) but he pulled through in a couple of days.
I know there are variants, but there are just as many variants of people who have different body chemistry which reacts to the infection differently. I’ve read more than one scientific source that O blood types are able to fight off the worst infections, so that makes sense with me.
This was terribly mishandled after a few months and the virus was better understood. I blame Fauci and the scarf lady.
“I think the hospital determined that the lawsuit that would have been coming if they killed her”
Maybe they did their research and learned that you took on a major insurance company when you were 20, represented yourself, and WON!! No ... they did not want to risk a suit. LOL!
That's a possiblility, but I've never had anything quite like these symptoms. Ran a moderately high fever, but didn't feel like it. Colds almost never result in a fever, and I've never had a mild flu in my life. I'm on the floor, begging for unconsciousness or death, and the flu usually lasts a lot longer. So I'm betting COVID.
Never lost my sense of taste, but I’ve never had a sense of smell, so that’s probably the reason.
How do you know it was Covid? PCR tests are useless.
nevermind.. i should have read thread first
I picked up a bug apparently week before last and since it really hit me last weekend I spent a few hours Sunday in bed napping
Worked all week last week and my voice was shot and throat scratchy but other than canceling some in person meetings it was not nearly as bad as allergies when the cedar starts blowing in
Mid last week talked to a couple colleagues who had same symptoms starting same day who were are same event I was and two tested positive for wuflu, as usual the one who was up to date on his shots was sick as a dog and rather than being baffled or angry that I (he knows I’m pure blood) it seemed like he was realizing he’s been had on the vax propaganda
Same here. Might have been C. Might have been allergies. Might have been flu. Vicks VapoRub don’t care none. Worked just the same. No clots.
