Finally, my unvaxxed self caught COVID about two weeks ago, and the meeting was uneventful. Horror stories I’d heard seemed even more remote and fictional as I experienced symptoms like a very mild flu. 3 or 4 days cleared it up. I’ve had colds lasting longer.
I’m more convinced than ever that going to an ER and getting admitted is the death sentence.
For the most part, a hospital is a place to avoid. It will do severe damage to your wallet.
In early 2021 my nephew contracted Covid. Later that year he got vaxxed. Then this past July he caught Covid again.....
I think your experience is generally true for this wave of Covid.
I was in my doctor’s office a week or so ago, and the nurse practitioner told me that most cases of covid now are basically just colds and they are much more concerned about the flu.
Been there done that....Nov 11,headache,fatigue and total joint pain for 6 days......I would take that over any of the colds I’ve had over the last 30 years.....no vax for me.

what’s REALLY bad is the RSV virus ... most of the people i know in my area of Colorado are or have been extremely ill with this virus, including me and my family ... friends all over the country have it too ...
the internet dogma says it can be mild and that there is no treatment, but around here, after sitting in the nasopharynx area for a few days it invariably goes down into the lungs ...
i had it bad, with crackles and wheezes and horn sounds in my lungs ... scared the crap out of me ...
lasts about two weeks with a lingering cough ...
we maintain our own medication stockpile and treated it with inhalation corticosteroids (e.g., budesonide) and inhalation bronchodilators (e.g., albuterol or levalbuterol)and an oral expectorant (e.g., generic Mucinex [guaifenesin]), the same basic treatment that would be prescribed by urgent care, or even administered in a hospital for that matter (despite the internet nonsense that there is no treatment) ... “treatment” wob’t kill the virus, but it WILL keep you from dying ...

You are correct. Even if you go to the hospital with something other than Covid, they still will try to kill you, especially of you’re old.
Happened to Mom, age 98. They purposely put a patient with WuFlu in the room with her. Then they told her she had Covid which was unlikely. If someone that old has Covid, you pretty much know it. Then they gave her Remdesivir without permission from my sister who has proxy.
We busted her out, i.e., we made their lives hell on earth 24/7, until they released her.
So the hospital missed out on the big government payoff for producing a dead lady.
How old are you? What is your BMI? Do you have other illnesses or medical conditions?
My wife and I did not and will not take the shots, but we did get covid. Now we have natural immunity.
However, our covid was extremely severe and debilitating. It lasted a month, and at times we thought we were going to die.
And it was clear medical personnel wanted us to die, and treated us with hostility because we refused the shot.
We slowly got over it after much suffering. In retrospect, we see that the doctors could have prescribed things to address the symptoms.
Maybe the variants are less serious now, but people should not be decived about how serious it can get, especially if they are older.
I tested positive this summer for Covid. It was like a head cold for 4-5 days with a low-grade fever. Lots of congestion but otherwise OK. I’m 65 and in generally good health. Got the vaccine last year.

How do you know it’s covid? Test are irrelevant so you probably had a cold or mild flu.
I have had all three variants now. Same thing, nothing burger. The weirdest thing was how my body felt. When I was laying down it felt like my body was floating in the air.
My morning coffee just met my monitor. LOL!
