A ‘heartbroken’ family wants answers after 21-year-old killed in MS Coast police shooting

The family of a 21-year-old college student from Georgia is in mourning after he was killed by a Hancock County sheriff’s deputy in an officer-involved shooting over the weekend.

Isaiah Winkley, who was studying cyber security at Pensacola Christian College in Florida, died Saturday morning after Hancock deputies responded to a report of a burglary at 28030 Highway 603 in Kiln, the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation said in a release.

Good grief. That’s a terrible standard. What if he needed help. I hope this family sues enough to own the city. This particular shooting was outrageous to say the least.
