Thanks for pointing out one way statistics can be manipulated to deceive. Most people are not aware of this sort of deception, or trained to spot it.

But in countries where abortions are legal & easily obtained, the smaller population has the disadvantage over the larger, when it comes to representing those abortions with percentages. That is especially true of nations whose population more than doubles that of the smaller population nation.
Fraud even becomes possible when the numbers used in determining the percentages are omitted. Such as the numbers of women of child bearing age being used & the determination method used to acquire that number, as well as, the number of actual abortions.
