Drove a Tacoma TRD Off-Road in a silver color with the packages I wanted on it. LOVED IT! Better than I expected and best part: Dealer took me to a construction lot with mud hills, potholes and obstacles to try it out. What an awesome, capable vehicle.

Expected a 3-4 month wait to get one due to the demand for the color I wanted. Received a call yesterday, the one they got in for another customer, the customer turned down because it didn't have the Tonneau Cover included. I was next on the list and jumped on it. Ordered the factory Tonneau cover over the phone and will have that installed when it arrives.

Love my 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee & sorry to see it go, but it's time. Wanted a new Grand Cherokee and have heard/read so many reliability issues with them that I opted for the Toyota, who's #1 in reliability. That's what I want at my advanced age (60 as of two weeks ago.)

Can't wait to pick it up this morning, and the day after Christmas I'm off to Tennessee with it to visit my two sons, who moved there in early November.

Enjoy your new truck, this is pretty much the last year that you will be able to get anything resembling a traditional car/truck before new regs and CAFE standards kick in.

Toyota has been minimally invested in EVs for a reason, but soon hybrids and EVs will be almost all that's available. You chose well.

Personally though, I wouldn't dump a vehicle with 140K on it, certainly not a Toyota. Someone will fix the problem and have a great vehicle.

You young guys and your toys. 140K used to be no biggie with a Jeep but things ain’t like the used to be. Enjoy your new ride. Glad you stayed away from chEVrolet. Their new ads turn me off to no end. Sadly it appears that is going to be the EVentuality for all the car companies. I did read that Toyota isn’t going all in yet though. That’s the truck Mr. GG2 wants. I can’t wait for him to get out of that monster Dodge Ram 2500 with 6 spd manual transmission. The diesel fuel bill is insane.

Nice truck. I got over the excitement of a new car in my mid 30s (early 40s now). My sweet spot is picking up 2-3 year just off lease cars with 20-25k miles on them, drive them for 3-4 more years (adding another 25-30k on them) and then do another one. Pretty minimal depreciation that way. I still can’t get over how expensive trucks are so I stick with nice sedans (currently driving an Audi A5) but if you are still financially in great shape, good for you!
