Ha ha ha. Best post.
I wonder if some idiot eco extinction rebellion terrorists were in the area. Seems like something they would do.
Maybe some sort of fracture that reached a breaking point? Im sure someone should have reported a “pop” or blast of some sort.
Yeah glad no one was hurt. I could think of better uses for a stick of dynamite.
They should have used the transparent aluminum.
Was this breach caused by a gun shot?
Interesting question. If there were a gun shot the thing would fail immediately. The sound could be confused with metal breaking.
There must be security video of this happening inside and outside.
Why "fresh fish", of course!!
Supplies limited..
Transparent Aluminum - Star Trek Technology is now Real
Question is would it have survived holding in a million liters without failing? It says it's stronger than glass, which in my book is not saying much. 🙂
There is a difference between strength and tenacity. Glass is very hard, but brittle. Aluminum is soft, but strong.
While I do not doubt that aluminum is strong. It's a question of how strong is the transparent aluminum. Is it strong enough to contain a million liters of water without failure?
I'm just asking, because I personally do not know how strong it actually is.
Do you know the answer to my question I posed? 🙂
