A former Department of Energy official accused of stealing a woman's suitcase from the Las Vegas airport glared at the camera in their mugshot after being arrested on the felony grand larceny charge.
Sam Brinton, 35, who identifies as non-binary and uses 'they/their' pronouns, appeared in a Las Vegas courtroom on Wednesday where the judge set their bail at $15,000. A cash bond has already been posted and Brinton was not held.
Brinton was charged for the luggage theft earlier this year at the Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas that was captured on security footage. They also face charges for luggage theft at the Minneapolis airport.
In court on Wednesday, Las Vegas Justice Court Judge Joe Bonaventure mentioned the Minneapolis incident and told Brinton to 'stay out of trouble.' Their court date for that case is on December 19 in Minnesota.
Brinton, who was appointed to his Department of Energy position in June, was out of a job on Monday, according to a statement released by the agency.

Men will not, ever, never, be women and will never have any of the feminine psyche, character, inborn compassion and care of others, along with every other mental and physical characteristic of a female, not to mention the intrinsic, unquatifiable attributes women have within themselves known only to each other.

I can kinda understand why news outlets write the pronouns preferred by these crazies. They don’t want to get sued!
Perhaps a little Puritan justice, circa 1692, is required.
