The family of the second Loudoun County assault victim claimed their daughter had 'more courage and leadership' than school officials who 'ignored red flags' and covered up for her skirt-wearing assaulter.
The girl's family broke their silence for the first time on Monday after she was sexually assaulted in a classroom by a now 15-year-old boy in October last year at a Virginia school.
School officials had attempted to coverup for the boy, who had transferred to Broad Run High School after he sexually assaulted another student in a transgender-friendly restroom while wearing a skirt in May 2021.
Her family released the statement on Monday following Loudoun County Superintendent Scott Ziegler indictment by a grand jury after he denied there were any records of the assault.
The family slammed officials for ignoring 'multiple red flags' and their duties to properly handle sexual assault cases.
Attorney Patrick M. Regan issued the statement on behalf of the family who hasn't spoken out publicly to protect their 'mental health' and 'well-being' of their daughter.
'Multiple red flags during the time period of May 12, 2021 to October 6, 2021 were raised and ignored,' the statement read. 'What happened to her on October 6, 2021 could have and should have been prevented,' the statement read.
According to NBC, the grand jury report, released on December 5, claimed the assailant's own grandmother called him a 'sociopath'.
School officials also failed to reach out after the girl after the attack while they attempted to maintain the institutions reputation by insisting there were no assaults on record.
'That alone speaks volumes to what we have endured throughout this ordeal.'

Why don’t rapists lose access to their genitals?
The school board LIED about the rapist, and effectively covered up for him.
Meanwhile the parent that complained his child was raped in the school was arrested.
These has not been a single apology by the Board - to the students raped, to their parents, and to the parents of the district.
and they dint goto their STATE Police because???
they WILL file reports, screw the school and local pd
These weren’t just underaged teens with mutual hormones, these were violent sexual assaults.
Bkmk
I think we all know what’s going on here. Since the perpetrator claims to be transgender, he is special and as a member of a recognized grievance group, he is not handled the same way another offender would be handled.
It’d be stupid to imply that the school or board had anything to do with facilitating the crimes. Common decency goes out the window when lawyers may be involved.
***she was sexually assaulted in a classroom by a now 15-year-old boy in October last year at a Virginia school. ***
In the olden days if nothing was done about this, a group of fathers would take the boy out behind the barn, beat the coon dog s#!t out of him and permanently make him a non-reproducing member of society. Maybe even throw some turpentine on his cuts.
But that was in the olden days.
from a bureaucracy stand point a “sociopath” is an ideal employee
“Why don’t rapists lose access to their genitals?”
Because FAR TOO MANY Americans vote for Democrats.
“I think we all know what’s going on here. Since the perpetrator claims to be transgender, he is special and as a member of a recognized grievance group, he is not handled the same way another offender would be handled.”
Along those lines, if they had disclosed the rape, then they’d have to answer as to why they let cross-dressing men into women’s bathrooms.
The school district covered up the first crime, and denied it occurred. They transferred the rapist to another school, where he violently raped another girl.
It’s impossible that none of the board members had no knowledge of this. Instead, they went after the parents, impling they were terrorists. Meanwhile they covered up for an active rapist.
The schools, administration and the board were up to their eyeballs in these events.
