Samantha Stevens was the name of a TV Witch on a very popular show of the 1960’s called Bewitched.
Samantha was played by Elizabeth Montgomery, daughter of actor Robert Montgomery, who earned 2 Academy Awards nominations for Best Actor.

Stevens claimed she needed to “perform rituals on large sums of money in order to lift the curse,” Well, Curse ain't gonna lift itself.
You can't just run into the Dollar Store and get a can of Curse spray.
