That’s the Spirit!
Whale, cow are you!
As a heavy person myself I can certainly understand that there are some jobs I might be too heavy for.
Little Lotta
I was too fat for the Top Gun ride at Great America. I didn’t try sue them for it.

It is sad that Breitbart is such a stream of internet advertising. You can’t tell what pictures are part of story and what are part of the ads.
Furthermore, the complaint claims that Blackmon, who is African-American, was the subject of racial discrimination.
The attorney writes that a “Caucasian Flight Attendant who was also in the early stages of her career and who was hired around the same time as [Blackmon], had the same issue of ‘fitting’ into the jump seat but she was given several months to fit into the jump seat.”
The complaint also alleges that Spirit Airlines was “willful” and “malicious” and disregarded her rights under the Civil Rights Act upon firing her.
That said, the Airbus 319 seems to have more space than the corresponding Boeing offering - jump seats notwithstanding.
She’ll plug up the exit when everyone’s rushing to get out.
got no problem with this. she cost the airlines in many ways. Plus she is a safety hazard. She could not efficiently do her job in a real emergence. Weight is something you can control almost all the time. An athlete has to watch their weight. So too should an airline stewardess.
Harsh, man. But Timely.
With no photos how are we able to weigh-in on this story?????
If terms of employment clearly state she must fit and buckle into the jumpseat she ain’t got a leg to stand on......and since this sounds like a safety related issue I bet it does.
She is also filing for racial discrimination.
Funny there arent any pics
If it is true as she alleges that another attendant who was white was given a certain amount of time to lose weight when she had the same problem then the suit is valid. I am sort of surprised that how to deal with weight issues are not mentioned in the contract (if the attendants are union members) since maintaining a certain weight range is essential to job safety.
The obvious solution would be to reassign her for a specific amount of time with her being subject to termination if she could not lose the weight.
A fund raiser will be held at Golden Corral.
"Deplane! Deplane!"
Pictures of this individual are necessary for a complete evaluation of this sequence of events.
Jumpseat will be on display and 25% discount coupons for those too overweight to fit or buckle up without a extension belt.
We’ve been re-watching the Mad Men series set in the ‘60s. Once in a while there will be a stewardess or two. Wow! Very beautiful, in shape, and wearing snazzy uniforms. Things sure have changed.
