Murdock, IMHO, hits the nail on the head.

Georgia had a chance to lead the way in getting rid of these “covid policies” but the powers that be, either out of fear or complicity, chose to embed these policies into law. As did every other state.

Because of that, the Democrats are starting off 2024 with anywhere from 260-270 Electoral College votes.

Hochul only won a handful of counties in NY. But between mail in ballots, etc and winning the right counties that moron is the Governor of NY.

Fetterman can’t even put a sentence together and he’ll soon be voting in laws for the rest of us.

Any attempt to reverse the mail-in ballot rules would be overturned by activist judges.

We can do both.

Let’s work to eliminate mail in voting and harvesting schemes. And until we do, let’s do them better than Democrats.

Let’s not let them put us in the disadvantaged position simply to play by rules they freely violate.

“Georgia had a chance to lead the way in getting rid of these “covid policies” but the powers that be, either out of fear or complicity, chose to embed these policies into law. As did every other state.”

You’re talking pure garbage. Laws were passed in 2021 that changed voting in GA.

Georgia has virtually eliminated drop boxes (e.g., there was only a single drop box location in downtown Atlanta in 2022). No drop boxes on street corners, all drop boxes have to be at a public building. Drop box hours are 7am-7pm, no late night ballot dumps.

Mail-in voting in GA was down 80% in 2022 vs 2020. Mail-in ballots are a lot more difficult to get, and Dems have been forced to abandon ballot harvesting and to go back to in-person voting due to the time and effort required to get a mail-in ballot.

In-person voting in GA requires gov’t ID. The bar code on your ID is scanned. The computer is connected to both the Georiga license database and voter registration database. There is a paper trail showing everyone who checked in to vote.

The new law requires vote counting to continue until all ballots are counted. No breaks, no locking up and coming back in the morning, counting goes on all night and day until finished.

Agreed. Mail-in balloting should be stopped. They are an easy gateway to voter theft.

Some, like Newt Gingrich, say that we just need to emulate the Democrats in their ballot harvesting and voter theft techniques.
This is wrong. The Democrats, whose god is big government and power, will have no problem with engaging in voter theft - it being for the 'greater good'. The typical conservative (not all, but typical) would never engage in such larceny since they know that we ALL will appear before the judgement throne of Christ, and excusing one's crimes because another is engaging in criminal activity is not going to cut it. Thou shalt not steal, and Thou shalt not bare false witness.
The only solution is to shutdown the avenues of voter theft - like mail in balloting and ballot harvesting.

How about fully resolving the 2008 Norm Coleman- Al Franken U.S. Senate race, too? The Left has been busy working on Leftist Cheating in elections for a long time. All Leftist Cheating-and I mean ALL OF IT-needs to be on the table, in order it to be fully and finally resolved.

It’s too late to demolish them anywhere but, perhaps, Georgia. Democrats control the governorships in Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Arizona.

Yes but if you use the mail in ballot you get two or three votes for some of the candidates for each ballot. When you vote in person you only get one vote per ballot.

Trying to “catch up” with a constantly moving goal post seems idiotic. Just work to expose and JAIL all these thugs.

Until land unless they are demolished, those practices must be emulated if the Republicans hope to be competitive going forward.

The white flags are flapping in the breeze, thanks to Republicans willing to accept as permanent the “emergency” election rules that Democrats demanded during 2020’s COVID hell.

All but 14 states changed how they vote due to covid. Many if not most have repub led legislatures. Can't blame it all on dems.

Meanwhile, until the rules are changed back, all we can do is play by these new rules.
