A retired Navy SEAL who became famous nearly 10 years ago after coming out as transgender announced he is detransitioning and called on Americans to "wake up" about how transgender health services are hurting children.,
"Everything you see on CNN with my face, do not even believe a word of it," Chris Beck, formerly known as Kristin Beck, told conservative influencer Robby Starbuck in an interview published earlier this month. "Everything that happened to me for the last 10 years destroyed my life. I destroyed my life. I'm not a victim. I did this to myself, but I had help."
"I take full responsibility," he continued. "I went on CNN and everything else, and that’s why I’m here right now. I’m trying to correct that."
Beck gained notoriety in 2013 when he spoke with CNN’s Anderson Cooper about transitioning to a woman.

I’ll support him when he apologizes for willingly
allowing a bunch of anti-American communists to use him as a weapon against the rest of us.
Every time I saw this guy, he was bristling with rage against normal people. Now he says “Never mind?” Please.
It seems to me that he is doing exactly that by admitting that he was wrong, and that we should not believe any of his old comments on the subject.
Yes, we used to actually LEARN things here from many valuable, knowledgeable people. Now it’s become largely a bunch of schoolboys hurling insults on the playground.
I don’t know how doctors and the medical establishment expect us to continue to trust them, when they allow people like Fauci to lead them around by the nose, the whole Covid mess, their willingness to chop the breasts off of healthy teenage girls, etc.
They should be concerned that a lot of people have lost trust in doctors and modern medicine.
That’s how it seems to you, then.
I think it would be useful for some of the people here to see Beck’s actual interview with Robbie Starbuck on Rumble. It’s long and covers a lot of ground, and he comes across as more intelligent and human than some of the comments here do.
Speaking of the whole transition thing, he says that some was paid for by the VA, and he says that he’s sorry to the American People.
Regarding helping to popularize the whole transgender issue, he says, “It’s killing me because I helped do that’. ‘I’ll beat myself up the rest of my life’.
‘I destroyed my life. I’m not a victim, I did it to myself. (But I had some help.)’
‘I know how much damage I’ve caused, and I want to say I’m Sorry. I know that God will forgive me, but I feel like I have no forgiveness. I’m going to live with this my whole life.’
‘I made those mistakes, and I have to make up for it’
His fiancée, also former military, makes some very important points on the destructiveness of a wide variety of ‘woke’ influence.

I was going to post that Chris Beck would probably be on Tucker Carlson very soon, and just saw a commercial saying he will be on tonight.
I read an article saying Chris Beck, formerly known as Kristen. Beck. Why didn’t they write, “Chris Beck, formerly known as Kristen Beck, originally known as Chris Beck.”
Thanks for the link and your opinion. BTW, Chris Beck will be on Tucker Carlson Tonight tonight. Excuse me for the weird sentence, but I couldn’t think of a better way to phrase it.
I applaud Chris Beck for talking about the horrors of pretending to be the other sex, and how physicians are pushing this on children and adults.
Yes, I used to learn so much here, and miss the old days. I guess some have died off or grown too old to post. We lost some great conservatives who were smart and knowledgeable and polite, too, in the purges. Then we lost many more when the conspiracy stuff started taking over, and they started getting nastier, and then more grew tired of it. And we just keep losing them. :(
I could have brought at least a dozen wonderful conservatives here I know in RL who would have been generous donors who were looking for a site like this around the 2020 election and soon afterward, but was too embarrassed to tell them about FR after seeing how full of conspiracy nuttery it had become. If it had been like this when I joined, well, I would not have joined. I kept hoping the conspiracy nonsense and nastiness would die down, but alas.
So I guess we’re losing lots of good, sane, smart, knowledgeable conservatives but not attracting new ones. It makes me sad.
But there are still some left of the above, including you :)
Regarding your post 58, the damage being done to the military and its recruitment is one of the things he addresses in the Starbuck interview.
There’s some reason that causes me to want to leave almost every day. But like you, I remember what FR used to be, and I still think it’s too valuable to leave to the idiots and neanderthals. (And it has hurt me that so many innocent and right-minded people have been suckered into some of the nonsense here.)
