Twitter and Brazil, too?

Seems the U.S. election wasn't the only election Twitter saw fit to meddle in.

Did Twitter get involved in another election? Maybe yes, according to Mr. Musk. This is the story:

Twitter owner Elon Musk said on Saturday he thought it was "possible" that personnel at the social media firm gave preference to left-wing candidates during Brazil's election this year, without providing evidence.

Musk completed his acquisition of Twitter on Oct. 27, just days before Brazil's presidential second round runoff vote, when far-right incumbent Jair Bolsonaro was defeated by leftist Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva.

"I've seen a lot of concerning tweets about the recent Brazil election," Musk wrote on Twitter when asked by a user about elections possibly "handled" by the company's previous management.

"If those tweets are accurate, it's possible that Twitter personnel gave preference to left wing candidates," added the billionaire.

Bolsonaro earlier this year hosted Musk at a meeting in the Brazilian state of Sao Paulo, when he called the U.S. billionaire's takeover of Twitter a "breath of hope" and dubbed him a "legend of liberty".

We don't know for sure, but I wouldn't be shocked.

First, the left hated Brazil's sitting President Jair Bolsonaro. He was often referred to as the Trump of Brazil, or "Tropical Trump." We do know that Nikolas Ferreira, a Bolsonaro ally, had his account suspended for questioning the election results. Does that sound familiar?

Maybe people outside the USA will take a more sober view of things when they realize that the American left/Democrat Party/woke lunacy is interfering in their elections too—and with the objective of subjecting them to a world-wide totalitarian regime and/or the Chinese Communist Party.

Twitter doesn’t have anywhere near the level of users to be changing elections in multiple countries. This is just ego masturbation. Really, Elon, you bought a high profile low importance low revenue company that’s been dwindling and if you hadn’t bought it would probably go bankrupt in a couple of years. And you over paid for it. And it’s still shrinking. And it’s STILL probably going to go bankrupt in a couple of years.

They say Hollywood relies more on China than on the US for its profits. Musk can count on a lot of users outside of the US to keep Twitter going. Our internal political debates probably don’t matter to them.

Just a folksy friendly suggestion for Jair Bolsonaro should he regain the Presidency. Have your lawyers read all the Twitter files which have been already released, and have them contact Musk to see if anything else is pending. Then, if you are convinced that there was election interference, and/or that other laws were broken, issue warrants for the arrest of all the employees who were involved and demand that Interpol make the arrests and that the suspects be promptly extradited. Have a meeting with the American diplomat and inform the diplomat that this is an extremely serious international incident and if the United States stonewalls then Brazil will break diplomatic relations.

And as Savage Beast is alluding to, make it a point to inform the American ambassador that although the American left supports and approves the horrors communism has inflicted on the citizens of Venezuela, Brazil pointedly DOES NOT! And Brazil will NOT tolerate any further interference in its elections by American citizens! And yes, freedom loving Brazilians will fight to the death to keep their liberty. "Give me liberty or give me death" does not only apply to the United States.
