The Supreme Court decision made on June 22, 2022, restoring the protections of right to bear arms outside the home by the Second Amendment, has bounced back to what it was before the decision was announced.
On November 30, 2022, a Marquette University Law School poll was released showing the results of this question, from September of 2021 through September of 2022.
The question was:
Table 11: Favor or oppose ruling that Second Amendment protects right to possess a gun outside the home. Among those with an opinion.
There were five polls taken before the decision was released on June 22, and two taken after the decision was released, one during July 5-12, and one during September 7-14.
Marquette does not show any more polls on this question after September 14, 2022.
A new question was formulated and used in a Marquette poll for the week of November 15-22, five months after the Bruen decision. The heading for the category was: J2: Expand 2nd Amendment. The question was:
[In 2022 the Supreme Court ruled that the 2nd Amendment right to “keep and bear arms” protects the right to carry a gun outside the home.] How much do you favor or oppose this decision?
The new question was for all respondents, whether they had heard of the decision or not. 28% of 1004 respondents had not heard of the case. The question divides the response into four categories instead of only two. Here are the results from the Marquette table:

Close to 2/3 of the respondents favored the Bruen decision.
Many polls are made to create opinion, rather than measure it.
Ignore the polls. God-given rights are not determined by public opinion.
Yeah, I got your pole, right here..... :(
So a poll from a far-left college is legitimate?
I found it surprising that a leftist law school would report such high levels of support for a very strong Second Amendment decision.
Awww geee
I love playing “Fun With Numbers”
The ‘popularity’ of the 2nd amendment is continually being manipulated by politicians and a willing media.
Support for a robust Second Amendment has been growing for at least 60 years.
I think it has information in it.

There is information in a comic book also.
Rights are not subject to popular opinion.
The first pocket is full of leftists...state-loving thugs that will curb stomp your rights in the name of egalitarianism. Inhabitants include AOC, Schumer, Pelosi, Antifa, rioters, and the like.
The second pocket is full of Dems and Dem-leaning folks who, when alone, will confide that they are kinda scared by the leftists. For example, and to be sure, they bought into the idea that Guns are Bad years ago. But with the rise of the criminal class (and attendant support from the local leftist governments), they're realizing that they're on their own, and maybe those gun nuts had a point. Tyranny is tyranny. They've bought a gun (and hopefully they go to the range).
I suspect a poll like this, published by a college, is either a call-to-action dog whistle from the leftists, or a red-pill attempt by the faculty in the second pocket.
The last part was:
Here are the results from the Marquette table:
Strongly favor 36%
Somewhat favor 28%
Total in favor 64%
Somewhat oppose 19%
Strongly oppose 16%
Total oppose 36%
We the People of Maryland support Bruen. Somewhere around 70,000 carry permits have been issued since the decision. Surprisingly, there’s no blood staining the streets with Wild West shootouts
I wish AmmoLand was mine!
It is, I am told, the largest, most successful gun themed website on the Internet.
AmmoLand is not my website.
They pay me to write for them.

Right, which is why no one should find credible any poll conducted by Marquette.
The establishment has been working on degrading support for the Second Amendment for a hundred years.

Which is one of many reasons that no one should vote for establishment candidates, the vast majority of whom are enemies of free people everywhere.
