Actually shows $4.29 at the Fry Blvd. Location. Amazed people will pay that.
$13.07 for a burger and small fries this week. Yum! (but expensive)
“...first time I ever posted anything online about it.”
Me, too. I only told my wife and that was that. Never been back.
We’ve got a local burger joint here in Hayden, Idaho called “Killer Burger.” I think they’ve got a couple outlets over in Spokane, WA. People rave about their burgers and fries, but it was about the same experience as Five Guys — just an OK burger at a high price. Been there once.
The strange thing is I didn’t post my experience on social media or make a video complaining about the place. I just made note of it and didn’t go back.Well, that's why you aren't a "food influencer."
5 guys is good, but the prices are outrageous.
If he thinks five-star places cost $18 a head….
Yeah, it’s expensive. Everything is.
Drop in Red Rooster Burger with Fries and a beer and your north of $40 dollars per person was $27 in 2018. The tank of gas to get there and back is $60 down from $75, up from $40 in 2018.
$12-14 per person from 5 guys is better than $9 per person from double from wendys and frosty.
Best case, buy the burgers from 5 guys with the fries and bring your own tallboy.
Oh well, so sad, too bad. Go to McDonalds
We each had a double cheeseburger at McDonald’s yesterday and today for 50 cents each plus tax. Christmas special through the app.
I paid $9.55 (including sales tax) for a double double cheeseburger, French fries, and regular root beer at In-N-Out Burger in Prescott AZ.
LOL. So now I know why my kids ignore me! My influence with them waned when they hit 16 or thereabouts.
buyer be ware....
look at your cable/internet/phone bill sometime....its insanity how many fees and taxes are added on....
we had booked a couple of vegas rooms for the spring, ultimately cancelled, but no kidding between the multiple fees and taxes by every entity in Nevada plus the "resort" fees, all that totaled about half the bill.....ridiculous...
its to the point where one must look for sales/discounts/freebee.....
Adult behavior. Refreshing.
Yeah, 5 Guys IS expensive, but they are also very delicious, and include all toppings. Now, I’m a frugal eater. So I got discounted gift cards online. Then my wife and I split a triple burger cut in half. We get toppings only one of wants on the side. We don’t get fries and enjoy the peanuts. Net cost for a tasty mean is under $5 each. The woman in the article is embarrassingly stupid and doesn’t know how to stretch money.
“Adult behavior.”
It took me a while, but I caught on in my 60s!
Surprised someone with the handle @retailcheapskate didn’t do their homework and look up prices before going there.
Still, $70 for 4 burgers, 4 drinks and 2 fries is absolutely outrageous.
I walked into a 5 Guys once. When I saw a big sign “All our burgers are well done”, I walked out.
I can go to Outback Steakhouse, be seated and waited on,
get The Best burger with fries, cooked the way I want (medium rare) for $13.00.
The key is to know this before ordering at the counter.
I go to a Five Guys maybe once a year. I have never even come close to eating all of a French Fry order there. I dunno what the prices are these days, but I suggest ordering from the children’s menu
The peanuts are free, so grab lots of those.
HA! - You literally took the exact words from my mouth!
Our Five Guy’s is right next door to the other highly over priced place - Zupa’s.
Great food and lot’s of calories but lunch for the wife and myself about $35.
