Men, and this was a man no matter what the media tries to pretend, can convince a young child of anything. They have no idea of what sex is and an abuser can just tell the child “this is what friends do together in secret”.
The child knows no better. That is why it is important that parents make sure that no one is in a position to be alone enough with their child to convince them that such actions are normal. There are perverts out there and they are being normalized in society more and more each day. It’s a parent’s job to be aware of that danger and make sure their child is not in a position where they can be abused.
Children are a clean slate, innocent, and vulnerable. My goodness, my husband could tell the grandkids that there used to be dinosaurs roaming our woods until he killed them all, and at age four they would believe him.
These parents belong in jail.
