MOSCOW, Idaho — More than two weeks after four University of Idaho students were brutally murdered at an off-campus residence, investigators say they have begun receiving results from forensic testing at a crime lab.

"...there have been results that have been returned and those go directly to the investigators..." Idaho State Police Communications Director Aaron Snell told Fox News Digital on Wednesday.

Snell declined to comment on whether DNA that did not belong to the four victims or two surviving roommates had been found at the scene.

Hopefully, if they don't have any yet, they will get some good leads from the testing of whatever...

I think I’m the only one guessing they were making porn and the cops are trippin’ all OVER themselves to spin it differently, but 4 body cams can’t malfunction at the same time so . . .

Guess the lab had a lot of cases in front of this one. Probably busy with testing Rudy Giuliani's blood for cholesterol.

The local PD is backing away from the “stalker” aspect of the story per Fox.

According to reports they partied late into the night almost every night. Probably had lots of random people walking through. Even if they have the killer’s fingerprints it could be like finding a needle in a haystack.

If they were streaming porn then someone who watched it would have spoken up by now.

Have suspected from the start that a girl/woman did the murders. Jealousy. revenge?

Idaho law enforcement officials now say they are not sure if the murder of four college students were 'targeted' in a major backflip in the case.

I think we need dna tests to determine if these guys are related to the uvalde le miscreants

Starting to appear as another typically small and bungling police department.

Ohh? What was that? I’m wrong?
Well how about these events that happened in the last week!:

Jon Boney Ramsey case? The father just made an impassioned plea for the Boulder PD to use the most recent DNA forensics…something they have refused to do for what a decade? Not even mentioning the awful mess they made of the crime scene.

Delphi Indiana Teen double murders case? They just arrested the prime suspect FIVE YEARS after the killing. Now it turns out they had DNA evidence, bullet forensics, a VIDEO of him walking and talking, witnesses that saw him walking home muddy and bloody the day of the murders.. Experts recently said they can’t understand why it took 5 years to make an arrest.

Sadly most PDs are more like this and rather than some CSI show:

Not every state can produce results as fast as NYC can on Law and Order. Here in WV, a state with about the same population as Idaho, lab results have just recently gone digital

The Pullman-Moscow metro area has a population of about 88,000. So, yes, it is small police departments, split over two states. I think the forensic lab is in Spokane, 600,000, although I’m not sure why its not being done in Boise, 750,000.

Downs anyone know if they found any blood evidence outside the house? The killer had to leave and it seems there should be footprints, etc. somewhere.

Nope, not the only one. When the story first broke one of the girls Instagram pages listed an Onlyfans link. People tried to debunk that but I didn’t see any definitive evidence that proved it was false. In fact I saw an interview on Fox with the girl’s mother who said her daughter offered to take her out for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and she had just bought herself a new car. Where does a cute young college student with no job get that kind of money? Well the Onlyfans link might be a clue.

I think you are spot on. Some nutcase got on them because of Onlyfans and the rest is history. My theory is the information is slow to come out due to the salacious nature of what these kids were up too. The authorities are slow walking trying to let the media frenzy subside and hope the spotlight fades.

Ah, the usual FReeper “blame the victim” approach. This killing reminds me entirely of the Gainesville, FL student killings in the early 90s, done by a psychotic drifter with no connection to the students except that he had staked out their student-housing apartment buildings because he was after young women, particularly small, dark-haired women. So he had a type of victim, although in reality he would kill anybody and was later tied to earlier sadistic knife killings in Louisiana.

He had been living (“urban campers,”as the Gainesville liberals called people like him) in the woods around Gainesville and supported himself by occasional robberies.

There were no leads for months until a woman in Louisiana, who had known some of his earlier victims, just had a hunch that the cases might be connected and called Florida police. It turned out that he had just been arrested for an attempted robbery in some other part of the state, and the police then found lots of evidence connecting him to the killings, to which he confessed, also naming the other killings in Louisiana.

He was executed by the State of FLorida in 2006.

I would suspect the Idaho killer was the same and will also be found by accident, possibly through earlier murders committed by him. There are many psychos who hang out near college housing, usually content with rape but often going to to killing the girls. Remember the killings of all those student nurses in Chicago back in the 80s? Those were also done with a knife, btw.
