Lady Susan Hussey, one of Queen Consort Camilla's closest aides, quit today after she allegedly refused to believe a black domestic abuse campaigner was British and asked her: 'What part of Africa are you from?'
Ngozi Fulani, director of the east London charity Sistah Space, said she was so shocked by the incident at Buckingham Palace yesterday that she 'couldn't report it to the Queen Consort' who had thrown the reception.
She said: 'It was such a shock to me and the other two women that we were stunned to temporary silence. I just stood at the edge of the room, smiled and engaged briefly with who spoke to me until I could leave'.
The Palace said it took the incident extremely seriously' and had investigated immediately. Staff have been 'reminded of the diversity and inclusivity policies which they are required to uphold at all times', a spokesman said.
The resignation is humiliating for Camilla and a disaster for Lady Hussey's godson Prince William, who lands in the US today with the Princess of Wales for a three-day tour now at risk of being overshadowed by the race row.
Referring to the aide as Lady SH, Ngozi Fulani said being asked by a member of the royal household where she 'really came from' at Camilla's key engagement on violence against women on Tuesday will 'never leave me'.

The House of Windsor threw her under the bus to try to up their street cred with the wokerati.
Not surprising.
The Windsor are infamous for turning on family and friends.
The Harkles ought to remember that.
The big deal is that the Windsors are a collection of gutless wonders who will do and say whatever they need to say and do to stay on the throne.
I hope people show up for the coronation waving tampons at Chuck as he and his partner in adultery roll by.
SO ironic that this happens as the Wales are in the US and the Megains are getting an award🙄
Nothing wrong with being from Liberia, it had a golden century before Samuel Doe's military coup. Heh, he got his though, brutally murdered by the counter-revolution a decade later.
She must have been from Niger
The niddle one?🤨
I think you are right on the money. Some of us, especially me, are still in the dark about all the rants about racism.
I had to ask an acquaintance if all “African-Americans” are Black. I honestly didn’t know anymore. Why hyphenate unless you’re making a point of distinction or propagandizing a disadvantage. What brought the subject up was African-American Elon Musk. Is there such a thing as a White African-American nowadays, I asked. And re-stating my wonder as to why we even have to know.
I was updating my profile on my doctor’s website when I happened to notice a few changes already in place. One was GENDER. “This patient identifies as female.” I didn’t think I could get any more confused than I already was. But..there’s always the next time, I guess.
“But of course now you have to be careful about the way you phrase things since insults are seen everywhere”
Amen.
I doubt it was an insult. I'm 75, and when I meet someone, even at the grocery store, or speak to someone on a call to customer service, I ask them what country they are from. I'm not interested in their race, I'm interested in their country, and their cultures, and I've had long conversations with them because I happened to ask them. I'm a mutt. My family tree takes in all countries, and it's interesting when you find someone from one of the country's your ancestors hailed from.
Thank you.
The child looks scared or like he’s about to cry.
Wanna bet the real reason is people were starting to ask question about her so-called charity...
From a commenter at the above link...
“Lyn, London, 2 hours ago
I looked through their 2021 Annual report online and it wasn’t clear what they actually did or achieved apart from raising income of 400k+. The charity commission should look at this organisation.”
That is a very good idea.
lol
She did answer. Born and raised in GB of parents who emigrated from the Caribbean after the ancestors were brought many years previous to the islands from someplace in Africa. Now she is wearing some sort of tribal costume and is upset that people do not understand that her finery only reflects a very distant heritage.
What is a TOS?
Are the last two seasons of the crown out yet?
This: attention seeker.
Ms Fulani, whose charity works with women with African and Caribbean heritage who have suffered violence at home, has previously accused the Royal Family of ‘domestic violence’ against Meghan Markle
I saw people saying they were going to report it for investigation. I suspect something funky has gone on...much the same as BLM group here
