I cosplay being a Viking American. Where are you from? - er, un, you racist, er uh, Washington DC.
if you go look at the video there is a close up of Camilla talking to the woman. Goodness, she has nasty rastafarian type dreads. I would have asked her if she was from Jamaica....lolol. There are other black ladies in the crowd..none of them are dressed in such a ridiculous manner.
The poster that said she was Cosplaying is right...straight from the Wakanda movie.
I’m generally not sympathetic to the “victims”, but I think Hussey was pretty pushy. The woman was answering the questions. From her perspective, she was being forthright. From Hussey’s perspective, the woman was “dodging”. But if you are questioning someone and you think that they are “dodging” repeatedly, perhaps it’s best to just drop it. But Hussey charged in again and again. This was an unforced error and she was rude.
Seems her husband is a participant in her mission, IMO..
I have figured it out. She dared to touch her hair..that is a big no no for black women..especially from some old white aristocrat. See this comment

The problem is that she touched the hair ... and then cross questioned a black British woman for at least five minutes about her origins and was incredibly presumptuous. When it was clear the woman in question was not happy. The whole event was about violence against women, not a genetic convention.”

“Meanwhile, TOS has been making the rounds to promote his memoir at a dinner party the weekend before last (19 November) that was attended by investors, potential investors, and business associates. One of the guests was so horrified and disgusted at what TOS said that they told a source that they saw a man (TOS) who was deluded and who was unstable. Most of the guests were uncomfortable with TOS bringing up topics in his memoir, and when the host and others tried to change the subject, TOS got angry with them all and rudely persisted. They also noted whenever TOS repeated his stories, they altered each time at which point most guests realised the tales had little credibility.”
Maybe Lady Hussey was just tired of the African wannabes?
Don’t blame her!
Forehead like a billboard. Poor woman.
Rude, ok. But is it racism?
well it is possible that the Aristocrat saw a cosplaying Rastafarian Wakanda wannabe and wanted to get to the bottom of it...but I suspect it was just an old lady trying to make the guest understand her question that she was interested in her roots.
THE Queen usually asked her guests “and what do you do”...this is just another version of that. Of course I doubt the queen would have kept on questioning..
I agree it’s not racism.
And if the woman in tribal outfit is British, perhaps a bit of cultural appropriation is going on there. Bad on her.
But Hussey ought to be deft enough to avoid a faux pas of any sort.
I’m tired of black people taking offense all the time.
Obviously a race hustler Markle style. There to damage the Brit crown and accuse them of racism.
The woman looks like she came right out of Africa and it is easy to see why an 83 year old woman didn’t know.
They always show up to look like African queens that were offended at the “racisim”.
Good golly. The woman is 83 years old. She probably doesn’t remember what she had for supper last night....much less, a conversation she had with a fake African.
So the lady is a Hussey.
Isn’t that a contradiction?
It’s quite humorous!
In the US, the woke would say that’s white privilege but the organizer, dressed as she was, invited the question of where she was from and accepts no responsibility. I once asked a someone here in Georgia if she was from San Diego (I am) because she had on a San Diego jacket. No, she’d never been, she just liked the design.
By complaining she is actually stepping on Lady Hussey’s culture and attempts to understand the context of what she’s seeing. This is why woke is toxic, victimhood is seen everywhere. No benefit of the doubt. It’s deliberate to keep ethnic groups divided and it’s exploited for political power and profits.
Heh..never bothered to know her history or heritage but dresses like she’s in The Lion King.
Even more...this is elder abuse. If she was my grandmother and the crowd came after her, I’d tell them to back the Hell up. I’d ask grandma if she felt like apologizing. If she didn’t, I’d let the crowd know...and then tell them to “Get off my lawn.”.
