Affects people differently. Wife and I had the sniffles for 4 or 5 days. My sister, 64, couldn’t eat for weeks, throwing up, lost 30lbs in 6 weeks.
I’m happy for this man and his family. He will likely have to deal with several chronic ailments, but he’s at least back at home and not seeing himself always as “The Patient”.
You don’t want that to be your primary identity.

This week, the Crochets hosted Thanksgiving. He sat at one end of the table, surrounded by his wife, children and grandchildren. They ate green beans and sweet potatoes prepared by Crochet himself.
There you go. And now he can finally knit his life back together.
My wife and younger (28 year old) son were hospitalized: she was expected to die. Thank God she did not.
My older son and I got COVID but had no symptoms. I had us tested 6 months later for antibodies to see if we really had COVID and we were chock full of antibodies.

My neighbor (age 50) was on a ventilator for months in the hospital with COVID. He wasn’t expected to survive but did -came home, family had a huge homecoming for him.
A month later he dropped dead in the bathroom.
I tested positive for covid on Nov 4th. Next day I saw the covid specialist at my family doctor practice which has dozen or more doctors. The doc gave me kit to treat covid:
6 pills of Arthromycin antibiotic (to prevent pneumonia?)
1 full Bottle each of Quercetin, D vitamin, C vitamin, Zinc, (Calcium+zinc+magnesium+D vitamin combo pills), mutivitamins, and Quinine Sulfate.
I took 1 pill each from all bottles each day. 2 days later all my severe symptoms had gone away, except cough and stuffy nose lasted 12 more days. 2 weeks after testing positive, I resumed my gym exercise routine (every other day).
I am still taking all pills except the anti-biotic which was used up in 6 days.
