Two Clear Creek sheriff's deputies were indicted by a grand jury and fired Wednesday, six months after at least one of them shot and killed 22-year-old Christian Glass while he was stranded on the side of the road and experiencing an apparent mental health crisis.

Boot-locking FReepers hardest hit.
Why be divisive man? It’s a holiday.
its not boot licking to support the leo’s , when a suspect cant obey a leo’s lawful order. if the guy had a mental problem where were his handlers? Its time people get back to taking the police seriously.
That means forget defunding them.
blame the msm for convincing people every cop is going to kill you because thats their job....
Supporting LEOS who break the law is idiotic.
Go actually research this situation…
These cops effed up, period.
i will wait for a more objective news site
they are not going to get a fair shake from SeeBS
“Deputies deployed less-lethal bean bags, and Taser with negative results."There's more to this story than the CBSNews report is giving
"[An Autopsy] showed that he had a .01% blood alcohol level and THC in his system, as well as amphetamine, which the Denver-based Rathod/Mohamedbhai law firm representing his family previously said was likely to be from a prescription to treat ADHD.
"[Lawyer] Rathod said that Glass was most likely having a mental crisis when he made the initial 911 call."
You are being really unfair-—these cops are heroes-—the confused man stabbed himself with his own knife and would not follow Police orders—they prevented him from harming himself further—out of compassion and public safety they put him out of his misery by shooting him 5 times. How unfair and judgmental of you!
Seriously......do I need to add sarcasm tag?
Umm, the grand jury report? Kinda doesn’t agree with you. Just sayin...
The cops have no right to break your window and attempt to forcibly remove you from your vehicle without cause.
This man was not accused of breaking any law, he was not threatening anyone, nor himself.
The cops effed up, period. Their actions escalated an annoying but peaceful situation… they intentionally escalated a situation with someone they knew was having a mental episode and continued to.
The cops effed up.
I support law enforcement, but I do not support cops who behave badly. There are nearly 700k LEO in the US today, you have to be a fool to believe that ever action done by every one of them is clean and correct.

The Grand Jury has decided there is enough evidence to try these officers.
It's up to the court to decide if there is enough to convict.
One can only hope the question of whether they passed their required pre-employment psychiatric screening is ever asked.
According to the news, if you are harming yourself, they have the right to kill you. Hmmmm.
“when he made the initial 911 call”
Calling 911 gets people killed an awful lot these days of shoot first, ask questions later.
He could have been seriously hurt if they hadn’t killed him
The cops obviously should have allowed themselves to be stabbed.
Was or was not the kid still in the car swinging the knife?
Not made clear, only stated that the cops broke the window after the kid refused to get out, accurately fearing the cops would shoot him.
I totally agree with you.
The cops should have allowed him to stab them.
What more do you want?
