Flight 34 Was Short But Significant

Over the past few weeks, the operations team has been at work installing a major software update aboard the helicopter. This update provides Ingenuity two major new capabilities: hazard avoidance when landing and the use of digital elevation maps to help navigate.

That article probably deserved its own thread or as the main post here, but it hadn’t appeared on the news search when I was posting the flight log data.

I veered over to the status updates page before hitting post, and there it was.

For all of those shadow snaps and vids, Ingenuity has proven to be the life and face on Mars everybody is searching for, no question. 😉

34th flight of Ingenuity

Ingenuity: the inventor of opportunity, so when it knocks...

I certainly appreciate the information link-up to the earlier thread about the Navy "nasa"-themed uniforms for the Army-Navy game.

It all seems like a bunch of unrelated data points but where have we heard that story before. If Haman were really smart he would have asked for a nickel every time someone exclaimed with 20/20 hindsight, "What are the odds?"

Ironic considering how long it took him to cast lots. Freaky but oh well.

Anyway, Sol 625 for the hover flight...

what a match to מרחב שלמה which equals 625, along with the modern-day emblem for that region:

Nice touch with the red (scarlet) "A" on the front right shoulder area.

Then there's the passage to Sinai, the 50th gate: sha'ar ha-nun [שער ה-נ] = 625.

See there, it ties right back to my comment directed toward academy grads and the "challenge" coins, because a Yovel [יובל] is a Yuval [יובל]:

The folks on the Noah's ark thread were squabbling about the length of a cubit, but it's all relative; i.e. in the ratios: shin, nun, lamed. Found the same dimensions years ago in a key Messianic ID phrase/name, together the dimensions of the Ark of the Covenant: 5.625.
