“No legitimate archaeologist does this,” says National Geographic Explorer Jodi Magness, an archaeologist at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, of modern searches for evidence of Noah.
Meh, no legitimate archaelogists went searching for Troy either, until Schliemann did, and he found it.

Noah is famous for saving humanity from complete destruction, and also for the invention of ark welding.

The world governments know that there is something on Ararat. But, for whatever reason, they refuse to acknowledge it.
It doesn’t mean it is Noah’s Ark, but they won’t fund an expedition to confirm that fact.

This is news? I think I came to that conclusion back in the 70’s after watching one of Leonard Nimoy’s In Search Of episodes.

There are some things that require the use of faith, and other things that are simply history. Even if they found the ark, that would not make people exercise their faith and get saved. All it would do is show more evidence that the accounts of historical events in the Hebrew Bible actually happened.

How did Noah cut the wood? Mitre saw? Measure twice cut once.

It can’t be found because all the old ark parts are in my garage, somewhere behind my assorted nuts and bolts boxes.

And look where we are today. A complete repeat prior to Noah’s ark.

two major meteors that changed life on earth
1. Burckle Crater this huge meteor hit the Indian Ocean 6000 years ago and likely flooded the middle east all the way to modern day Turkey. Associated with Noah.
2. 12,600 years ago likely the Saginaw Michigan Impact Structure or massive solar flare/micro-Nova that caused the younger dryas. At this time there where approximately three million Clovis people today (nearly?) extinct human species. All the way to Mexico there is a black mat that covers the continent with nearly nothing that lived. nearly all Megafauna (large animals) died. Likely associated with Gilgamesh and Hobabish betray a Babylonian provenance the first flood.
After the younger dryas the birthrate of Women where 17 to 1 man at it's peek that lasted for thousands of years.

There is good reason to think that the Noah story is a Judaic version of the Gilgamesh story from Mesopotamia. That would place the flood in that region and not the Black Sea, which would jibe with evidence for one or more catastrophic floods in Mesopotamia and the Persian Gulf.
The Noah story in the Bible would then be true as to there having been a flood, not factually accurate as to Noah, but morally true as to Man's relationship with God.

Look up the "8.2 Ka Event" on the internet. It describes a well-documented event in geologic history. 'Ka' means
K (thousands) of years
ago, 6,200 years BC.
It describes glacial melting that built up two very large lakes in Southern Canada and Northern USA - Lake Agassiz, and Lake Ojibway. Ice dams broke, and the lakes emptied nearly immediately. Wikipedia states that it resulted in 10-13 FEET of permanent ocean level increase.

A close Kurdish friend of mine in N. Syria said Noah’s arc is in high mountains in what is now Turkey. And that people in that region say they are decendants of Noah. (She was well informed)
Hundreds of thousands of Kurdish Jews were removed from Iraq, N. Syria, Iran and Turkey. Many are said to have evacuated to Israel.
