Can cut lumber survive from multiple centuries past unless preserved by cold temps?

If it’s petrified, but then it’s not really “lumber” anymore, since it’s a mineral at that point.

As the population began to rebound, they needed building lumber. The ark was a wonderful source of premium milled lumber, and because the ark rested on the mountainside the boards could be dragged downhill easily.

It lasted only a couple of centuries before it was completely scavenged. There remains now nothing left to be found.

If it was white oak maybe in the right conditions.

It would have had to been covered up very soon after the incident though...like a hundred years or so.

The problem is that they are all looking for it on Mount Ararat. Bible doesnt say that. It says Mountains of Ararat.
