A lot of folks here think I carry water for Vlad Putin but what a Liberal Democrat he is on this one taxing "sugary drinks".

All politicians have to find something to tax, something to "raise revenue".

Here's Vlad's stab at it.

The way around this tax is simple. Make the rumor true. Make Dr Pepper with plum juice.

Gov. Mike Huckabee did stuff like that. Didn’t help cure his family obesity crisis per the group photo.

It’s all a gimmick something is dramatized or demonized adult beverages, cigarettes, sugary drinks, carbon usage and voila the taxes follow.

Maybe the Daily Mail can cook up a love story involving Bloomberg and Putin.

They’ve pretty much put out everything else about Putin why not the stories of Putin and his gay lovers.

I’m part Ukrainian and part Russian.

I don’t know what to believe. Taken no side.

I’m hard pressed to think we should be funding this to the levels of mega-billions, especially since some of the military equipment we have sent to Ukraine has showed up on the black market.

Their bit coin got funneled into our leftist politicals. (and, to be fair, the Turtle.)

The results are our spending is screwing our kid’s future, major.

A tax on coffins would raise a lot of money for RuZZia.

Heard there is a big market for them.

I guess I don’t understand why anyone in America cares. So they taxed sweet drinks. Who cares. Russia can tax what they want to tax.
