The Welsh seemed a lot more patriotic than the Americans. Singing with gusty vigor, seemed most of the stadium was singing “Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau.”The Welsh national anthem. Completely expected. I've been learning Welsh for years. The initial reason was to be able to read genealogical records/parish registries recorded in the original Welsh. Cemetery headstones as well. I'm getting reasonably proficient in the language, but I've never been a sports fan. Rugby is a strong Welsh cultural trait. Lots of music around the sport. I hope both sides enjoy the game. I'm not invested in a win by either side.
