Zeihan simply parrots deep-state propaganda, but takes it a step further by adding a veneer of insider “analysis” connected to his unprovable long-term “themes.”
Peter Zeihan has done it again! The End of the World is Just the Beginning offers a glimpse of the future by looking to the past. The geopolitics and demography that gave us our “perfect moment” in history is passing. What is in store for us and generations to come? Move Zeihan’s latest to the top of your stack and find out.

What’s the gist please?
Agree. Although his points on demographics are interesting and definitely do have a place in cause/effect of events.
I agree that he's a bit of a deep state parrot but he always brings some interesting analysis to the table, whether you agree or not. The main thing I agree with him on is that the United States is geographically and economically in the very best position for success for the forseeable future. He also makes a good case that many other large nations such as Russia, China and most of the nations of Europe, are in bad shape due to their rapidly aging demographic situation (comparatively fewer younger people coming up the ranks).
Beware on YouTube of many fake Zeihan channels. A lot of people have taken to repackaging older Zeihan lectures and speeches as "new content" in order to generate hits and revenue for themselves.
I follow Zeihan on Twitter, and he is quite the “war whore.”
He loves tweeting random and decontextualized reports, articles or videos of Russians taking losses, much like the crap we see on Daily Mail, the Sun, etc...
Of course, never shows or discusses Ukraine losses or difficulties, or how the info he is tweeting fits into one of his larger theories.
Doesn’t inspire confidence as a long term trend “analyst” or intellectual, at least certainly not on Twitter.
Yes, his theories about demographics or long-term strategic advantage are interesting - but he didn’t invent these themes. One can find them elsewhere.
One also has to question his assumptions. For example, He has spoken a lot about debt in China. But his is a very western-centric analysis. In a communist system, where the CCP controls all financial and large business players and force anything upon them, debt and defaults will not play out as they do in the West.
I’m also curious how he gained such “sudden” fame.
Basically he says Sweden knows who blew up the pipeline, but isn’t saying. His theory is that would require Sweden or others to take action, militarily. He said Germany is screwed without Russian energy but fails to take into account supply demand adjustments. Tesla is a bigger threat to Germany than Russia, and Zeihan doesn’t understand this.
With all due respect.... You get it on Peter Zeihan

None the less this raised your IQ
