I find the Zeihan clips pretty interesting. They seem to be daily and in easy to digest bites. A typical video is no more than 10 minutes but usually closer to 5 minutes.

I agree that he's a bit of a deep state parrot but he always brings some interesting analysis to the table, whether you agree or not. The main thing I agree with him on is that the United States is geographically and economically in the very best position for success for the forseeable future. He also makes a good case that many other large nations such as Russia, China and most of the nations of Europe, are in bad shape due to their rapidly aging demographic situation (comparatively fewer younger people coming up the ranks).

Beware on YouTube of many fake Zeihan channels. A lot of people have taken to repackaging older Zeihan lectures and speeches as "new content" in order to generate hits and revenue for themselves.

Yes, his theories about demographics or long-term strategic advantage are interesting - but he didn’t invent these themes. One can find them elsewhere.

One also has to question his assumptions. For example, He has spoken a lot about debt in China. But his is a very western-centric analysis. In a communist system, where the CCP controls all financial and large business players and force anything upon them, debt and defaults will not play out as they do in the West.

I’m also curious how he gained such “sudden” fame.
