Three Primary Factors Stopped That Red Wave
American Thinker ^ | 11 Nov, 2022 | Cassandra Smith

As an analyst and long-time election observer who has watched too many red states turn blue, I can see exactly how the midterms played out.

After watching the debacle on Tuesday night, I did my own post-mortem of what happened. I lay the blame on three major factors: The Republican elites, the American public, and early voting.

The Republican Elites

By far the most important factor is the Republican elites. In 2020, the GOPe was almost as glad as the Dems to be rid of Donald Trump, so they ignored and denied the massive vote fraud that swept Joe Biden into office.

After Biden’s many undistinguished years in the Senate, they convinced themselves that he was their friend and would work with them, in other words, “he’s one of us….” With a few notable exceptions, they went along with the Dems’ “insurrection” claptrap hoping it would vanquish Trump from the national scene for good. The GOPes ignored the effect these actions had on the Republican base, which was far more loyal to Donald Trump than to the Republican party.

SNIP

The American Public

The American public, having been fed a steady diet of leftism and dumbed-down curricula from nursery school through graduate school, no longer understands civics or economics, and sees our form of government as somehow inferior to European socialism. European socialism is only made possible by the U.S. Defense umbrella in the form of NATO, but few understand that distinction.

SNIP

Early Voting

Early voting is the sleeper contributor to last night’s losses. It gives both parties an advance detailed picture of how many people voted, who voted, who is likely to vote but hasn’t yet, and what party voters support or belong to.

I think the cartoon sums it up. I feel that the reason they voted for these little Hitlers, including the vegetable version, is that they actually want to be locked down, masked, force-vaccinated (for their own good, of course), live on the government teat, and suppress dissent - because what they really are is scared.

You will find that most of these people, in varying degrees, supported the lockdowns, were perfectly happy to report their neighbors who might have done something illegal like go to a church service, and were out there forcing their children to spend their formative years with a piece of paper tied around their faces, isolated from other children and even the world outside.

But it made them feel safe. Big oppressive government makes them feel safe.

So remember that this is the first major election after the shutdown, to some extent we are seeing effects of the shutdown and its insane surpression of our freedoms and of normal human life.

Most of these people are atheists, either functionally or literally, most of them get their morality from the media and entertainment world, and they are indeed like sheep without a shepherd. So when the left comes along and tells them that the secret to safety and security is to be found in what is becoming more every day like an open-air prison where even the freedom to breathe is controlled by the government, they’re all in.

And as for the wide open criminality and violence that flourishes under a leftist regime, well, that’s okay. Think of the criminals as the enforcers. Keep your population scared and locked in their homes. Make them fixate on racial differences (which no one can do anything about) and further separate them into controllable groups.

So we do have a problem that goes beyond everything else, even electoral cheating, Trump’s idiotic bloviations, or the media. And it is a spiritual problem.

“tighten election laws, crack down on election fraud”

The PA Fetterman “win” shows the extent of the fraud: 52% mail-in/harvested ballots for the Rats, 10% for Oz.

This disparity is impossible to explain other than being proof of massive fraud.

I said after 2020 that the mail-in ballots are the key to the fraud.

Imagine, you can cast a ballot for every registered voter, especially, in blue areas.

You can register new voters and cast ballots on their behalf.

But Trump did nothing about this. He had no strategy, no system to stop this. He allowed 2020 all over again.

All you need to do is look at the difference in the % of mass-mail-in ballots and vote harvesting. That factor alone MORE than explains the Rat victories. In states where theses are banned, such as Florida, the GOP wins.

Look at Florida: the GOP just slightly, and only recently, leads the Rats in overall voter registration.

Yet DeSantis won by 20 points, and Rubio by around 12.

If the Rats were free in Florida to fraud the election with mass mail-in ballots and ballot harvesting, they could have won.

It’s starts with this first. Then all the other theories fall into place. Why we have some ignorance of this on our side is peculiar.

The GOP will never win in states where they can't stop the "emergency Covid measure" of unsolicited mass mailings of ballots, and vote harvesting.

California was not a swing state like PA, but the % of [bogus] mail-in ballots is just insane. This is how they even turned safe "red" counties blue.

It's third world, it's corrupt, it's humiliating, and it appears unstoppable in states where there is a blue majority in their legislature.

I agree with everything in this article but it seems to me that the one thing that could be done to combat all of it is to stop voting by mail, early voting and the other nonsense like lock boxes. There should be a return to the old in person voting and military vote by mail. Laziness and fraud have destroyed our elections.

Yes. I think so many of us are in denial as to how far gone our “Republic” is.

How many democrats do you know that switched parties because of inflation etc? It didn’t happen.

I worked the polls on Tuesday and what I saw and heard gave me little confidence anything was going to change.

The media and schools have been successful at brainwashing generations of Americans. And it continues.....

A number of years ago, Soros began funding leftwing communists for SoS - the office that controls the voting process.

In 2020, we saw the result and it continued into 2022.

AZ is a typical example as the SoS, a radical leftwing communist, was also running for Governor. She created such chaos that it was easy to add votes out of thin air.

Until this massive voter fraud (mail-in ballots and vote machine corruption) is stopped and replaced with 1-day in-person voting with photo ID, America is doomed.

At some point, the 2A will be our last hope to save our republic.

“Trump’s candidates did not have a coherent message.”

First off, DeSantis’ candidates did not win, the ones he endorsed.

Second, “Trump’s candidates” did win, and the ones who lost came closer than ever before to unseating entrenched incumbent democrats in blue states.

“DeSantis showed how this could be done....tighten election laws, crack down on election fraud, lead boldly.”

I am not against DeSantis, but he is the governor and can accomplish that in his state only.

Are you claiming that Trump does not lead boldly? His leadership is what got DeSantis elected. You must have forgotten he was not doing well until he was endorsed by Trump and then only won by 20,000 votes.

Third, you don’t know the hell you are talking about.

If they are that scared, maybe a network of suicide booths with soothing music would be attractive to them.

:: easier for people who normally wouldn’t bother to vote get to vote with little or no effort. People who normally wouldn’t bother to vote ::

Let’s break that down.

easier for people who normally wouldn’t bother to vote get [their vote made] with no...effort[on their part].
People who normally wouldn’t bother to vote [have their ballots filled out and mailed in by liberals in government employ].

I tweak Gen Z at the retail level...primarily at the grocery store. I let them ring up my order, THEN hit them with the four words all cashiers dread: “I’ve got the change.” Make sure you carry a dollar in change with you. Deer in headlights hilarity ensues when they make the calculation WITHOUT a machine.

The US has really become this depraved.

After reading about the pig w/lipstick/man winning beauty contest that cheated some poor girl out of a scholarship (New Hampshire), it dawned on me that America is in an inexorable trajectory to annihilation.

I never thought I would see it in my lifetime. Now, I'm not so sure.

Whatever form it takes, these "woke" white liberal female big mouthed whores who run the country? They're not going to like what follows.

Very soon, the ONLY people with income other than welfare will be government employees.
These too will be tiered so that only the elite will have a living wage.

There’s a book out there about this.
No, it’s not Animal Farm
Not 1984, either

Read Atlas Shrugged.

I haven’t seen the statistics on turnout, but I know that if I’m disgusted with the Republican party, then a lot of other people are as well.

I despise the republicant’s as much as I despise the democrats, maybe even more. At least the democrats are somewhat honest about their intentions. It is definitely safe to say that I loathe McConnell and McCarthy every bit as much as Schumer and Pelosi.

Yes, that was after the 2000 Bush v Gore election and it is working.

Soros also funded AG and DA races to unleash criminality as an excuse to disarm us.

This. I could see that the 2020 election would be ripe for fraud the minute they started talking about mail-in ballots, and was horrified when Trump did nothing. I kept hoping he was going to do something, but ... he did nothing at all.

DeSantis cleaned up Florida and restored election integrity. He also organized a powerful political machine that worked year-round to register Republican voters and then to get out the vote.

Yesterday morning, I flipped over to NPR when the conservative radio station was on a long commercial break, and they were interviewing a reporter from The Hill who carried on about the excellent organization and “political machine” DeSantis had put in place as key to his big win — he sounded like a Republican lamenting a loss to the Democrat political machine in Chicago. Lol, I loved it! Of course he didn’t mention the clean-up of Florida’s electoral system that prevented the Dems cheating or DeSantis’ leadership and well-earned popularity which were also important keys.

Trump seems to think he should be able to win just by being Trump and holding rallies, but these other things are also needed, namely election integrity and organization. Trump did not learn this lesson even after being smacked in the face with it in 2020, and shows no sign of having learned it even now.

:: Why did independents break for the Democrats? ::

They read the big newspapers and watch the FakeNews media.
And BELIEVED it.
The Independents, simply, voted against Trump who was not even ON THE BALLOT.

Independent voters are voters who can’t decide between voting Demonicrat or not voting at all.
They should be a voting block that is written off, completely.
Plus, they aren’t large enough to swing an election anymore since, when they vote, they vote Democrat.
