MOSCOW — Jailed American basketball star Brittney Griner has been moved from a detention center outside of Moscow and is being sent to a Russian penal colony to begin serving out her nine-year sentence on drug smuggling charges, her lawyers said Wednesday.
A statement released by Griner’s legal team says they do not have information on Griner’s “exact current location or her final destination.”
The statement also said that in accordance with “standard Russian procedure,” they anticipate Russian authorities will notify Griner’s legal team and the U.S. embassy of Griner’s whereabouts upon arrival at her destination.

As a nation we began to lose our virtue toward the end of WWII when globalists like the Rockefellers brought the Frankfurt School into our nation that they would demoralize and debauch Americans as they had done to Germans prior to Hitler's arrival. The rotten seeds planted throughout our institutions by the Frankfurt School and fellow travelers took root and bore fruit. Perhaps I am too kind so I will state it more harshly.
Our animosity should never be for the dog who is bred to fight. Yes, we dispose of them and do so with pity, but our anger is reserved for those who beat the dog and made it that way.
It is a fine point and a debate for the ages. Yes, a human is far more capable of “reason” than an animal, but the world is not that black and white - it is many shades of grey. The animal was not born to be vicious although it has that capability - it was “trained” to be vicious.
Brittney was not born to hate our nation. People taught her to hate our nation and she was raised and operated in a world where there were few consequences for bad behavior.
A twofer of stupidity and now she is paying the price.
From what I’ve read about her.....she seems to be a spoiled person that thought our country was trash and made her feelings public. Then thought she could break Russian laws. So, I think she is not somebody I care too much about. That said, she is an American citizen and I think she has paid a heavy price for her stupidity. Trump would have had her home months ago. She knows this and it must be a bitter realization.

I would go even further..... the “Frankfurt School” was replaced by the supreme efforts to co-opt academia by the KGB in the Cold War with great effectiveness. Khruschev said the quiet part out loud and if he were around today he would be quite proud.
Academia in America has been the root of the modern left and they are the BIGGEST influence on media, culture, bureaucracy, and the courts. The “grievance culture” of America can be laid at their feet. Brittney was immersed in it with tragic consequences for her personally.
Throughout human history “who” do despots purge immediately with a change in power? Academics. Many of the Academics who wholeheartedly supported Castro in Cuba were imprisoned or disappeared because Castro knew that they were the biggest threat to his power.

While your point and mine about external forces eroding the base of our nation is true, it is the lack of biblical morality and norms that creates the space in which evil can flourish and it is flourishing!

I get a strange notion that the reason Griner is being punished to the max is that she probably was arrogant when arrested and arraigned, and thought that she could trash talk to the Russians.
It didn’t help her to pull that crap, initially.
