@unusual_whales
This is truly wild.
Senator Thomas Carper bought up to $110k in Ranger Equity Bear Bear ETF, $HDGE, an active ETF that shorts US listed stocks.
He sits on the Senate Finance Committee.
And as a politician, he is actively shorting the US economy.

I know anyone can do it but a U.S. senator doing it ?
And on the finance committee. he knows stuff that the dems and fake news has been hiding.
The Kennedy clan were famous short sellers.
Nothing new under the sun.
Really? A shot-selling ETF? Sounds like a good way to lose your shirt unless you are a sophisticated hedge-fund trader.
Don’t question your betters.
.
I have been buying TSLA Inverse, DRV RE inverse, SQQQ Proshares UltraPro Short QQQ, and SPXS Daily S&P 500 Bear 3X SPXS.
My top pick is the Inverse RE EFT. WE all know 1H 23, RE will crater, visions of 2008,
That’s why Trump has to be stopped
If good things happen libtards lose big
I got out of the stock market after the bloodbath of 2007-2008.
Whoa! What an effing traitor. He votes to destroy the US economy and then profits from it. He needs to be investigated.
If your house burnt to the ground, would you stop buying houses?
What is the difference between insider trading and a regulator trading in equities of the companies/industries they are regulating?
What is the difference in bribery of a governmental official and a regulator receiving royalties on products that the regulator must approve to be allowed in the marketplace?
I guess he isn’t a complete moron.
I would if its a sucker’s market.
Meh.
A fund shorting individual stocks is not shorting the economy.
Shorting is just the flip side of investing in companies you think will rise in value in the future.
No guarantees you will make money either way you go. It’s a market.
More interesting to me is that he is a US Senator from Delaware since 2001.
21 years in the Senate and I had to google his name. That’s a really low profile.
I’d like to know what soros is short selling.
