Hmmm...
If she had raped or murdered someone, she would be walking free...

Hope she is lawyered up to sue the cops and locality for the physical abuse and hospital time...

This charge being processed, under these horrendous circumstances, seems to be just a threat to keep her from suing the cops, IMHO...

Several law enforcement agencies responded to reports of a road rage incident involving a firearm in Fort Lupton, and Rios-Gonzalez was pulled over, handcuffed and placed in a patrol car parked on railroad tracks.

In other words, the cops witnesses nothing themselves, yet still charged this mother because they believed someone else's story, which I doubt was made under oath.

Crazy. Why would the cop park on the train track.

Morgan and Morgan will be giving her a fine monetary package when she’s done with the charges. There is no way that city isn’t going to pay her. The city was negligent beyond belief. Yes she deserves to see some charges, but I think the jury is going to be sympathetic, or should be.

Why haven’t the police been charged for attempted murder of the woman?

I’d vote not guilty at her trail. In the old west if you hanged someone and the rope broke... they were released. Same thing here for me.

Time in hospital was under custody so it may be “time served”.

Who stops a car on railroad tracks, ever?

Imagine knowing a train is coming and you’re handcuffed in the back of a car with doors that don’t open from the inside.

Meanwhile, the cops are probably all congratulating and high-fiving each other. I support law enforcement (not so much the FBI anymore), but this is a demonstration of sheer stupidity or a complete lack of situational awareness.

The cop should be charged with multiple counts of felony negligence and endangerment.

He parked on a RR track, saw the train coming, walked away without even a cheap attempt at rescuing her, and stood there like a stump and watched her get hit by an iron train with massive momentum.

It’s a miracle she’s alive.

I don’t know if the coward was fired, but most police contracts have a clause for cowardice.

She was arrested for something that hadn’t even gotten violent. Just traffic crap. And he abandons her to a likely horrible death over that?

So when do the cops in CO start doing this routinely to anyone accused of some minor crime? Sure would save on trials and all that stuff. They can be judge, jury and executioner with a ready made excuse! “We didn’t see that train comin. We sorrreee!”

Yea Right.
