Here's my week nine picks @ yahoo

For the first time this year I'm picking against the Detroit Lions because they, not me, have introduced tanking as a real strategy they may be employing. Dealing T.J. Hockenson for trading future draft picks begs the question, didn't the Vikings have any established defensive players who could help a very poor defense that is killing the Lions right now?

The Lions already have a fairly good offence and didn't really need Hoc so much. But the Vikings defense probably has a good number of better players that won't start on a pretty good defense that the Lions could use.

Here's to the Phils!...two weeks left in the season, I didn't even think they
would make the playoffs...to beat the Braves and get with in 2 games of a
WS Championship is nothing short of amazing.

As to the Birds, I'm still not sure if they are the best team in the NFC, let
alone the NFL as Buffalo is clearly heads and tails better than everybody. If
Philly can roll into Dallas and beat the Girls with Dak, then I would feel
better about their chances.

Thursday night football results; everybody won except three guys who picked the Texans.

Rams / Bucs and Titans / Chiefs should be fun to watch today.

The Phillies need a shortstop Andromeda pitching, and get rid of Hoskins.

I agree for the most part but I would give Stott another year...you are going
to need a 1st baseman to replace Hoskins.
