Here are pics of the dog gate in the black plastic mesh & the gate in galvanized wire. The wire pic is with metal zips & taped (white). I didn't like it .... took off tape & metal zips & re-did it with white plastic zip ties (but didn't get that picture yet).

The old zips, when I took off the mesh were still in good shape. On the porch, they don't get sun, just cold & they weren't brittle at all. So I figured zips would be ok - the main thing is to get that messy black plastic mesh replaced. I'm happy with the way it turned out & so is my SIL :-)

Quiviut; You can slide the Gate/Fence back and forth! Nice design, nice gate! The white will look better. (Not a big dog is it?)
