A man from Miami, in southern Florida, burned about 40 pairs of Kanye West brand shoes, worth about $15,000, in protest at recent anti-Semitic and racist statements by the American rapper, such as US media reported on Wednesday.
Daniel Schiff joined the wave of rejection that Kanye West's comments have provoked with the burning of footwear from the Yeezy brand, owned by the rapper, which he acquired in recent years, as he recorded in videos he posted on his social networks .
The man pointed out that the controversial statements by West, who changed his official name to Ye, can "cause damage, injury or even death."

First, I question the sanity of anyone who has boughten 40 pairs of Kanye shoes. Even suppose they are nice shoes, it is still crazy.
And yes, there are people who need a pair of shoes for various reasons—fire, natural disaster, poverty. Wasting them isn't cool.
