Russians always had a “thing” for their tyrants creating icons depicting their image on a particular saint, which is always used in Orthodox liturgical tradition for prayers or any other special occasions. Which is really weird taking into consideration that Bolsheviks have been trying to eradicate Orthodoxy with all means possible: from propaganda to physical extermination.
