Here are some of the oddities I have run across lately, including a Cuban zombie film!
I also have the Dan Curtis Macabre Collection in my DVD collection. It includes the 1968 colour videotape production of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, the Jack Palance 1973 Dracula, The Picture of Dorian Gray, and The Turn of the Screw with Lynn Redgrave.
The first Hellraiser was one of the classics for sure.
Shin Godzilla.
Train to Busan
Different genres, but both with the best Cage since Vampire’s Kiss.
The director of Colour, Richard Stanley, also made Hardware, and is writing a version of The Dunwich Horror.
I’ll keep an eye out for Endless.
Check out Seoul Station, an animated prequel to Busan. Very good.

Killer Clowns from outer space!
Some good picks here. No one mentioned “American Werewolf in London”.

Some more recent, not slasher types but thought provoking.

Huh! Never even heard of Hardware, will have to check it out because it sounds like my kind of movie. & yeah def check out the Endless and the other Benson & Moorehead movies. It might actually be better to watch Resolution before The Endless because they have some of the same characters and Resolution occurs before the events in the Endless.

Shin Godzilla is really great, the characterization of the japanese bureaucracy was hilarious. The scene where it finally uses the breath weapon was truly horrific.
