For forgiveness to be complete there must be repentance
There is nothing more joyful than complete forgiveness with repentance.
You may have forgiveness without repentance. You may also have repentance without forgiveness.
It is good to have BOTH with God and I think he likes it that way also.
We like the concept of forgiveness, repentance, not so much.
KC is correct, it redirects the conscience to focus on God the Savior and not toward that which offends.
This is rightfully a repentance of conscience for the forgiver.
BOTH hearts are (should be) changed.
Yet the forgiveness is not the same as the “forgetness”.
The shaking off of sandals is a good example.
It is more difficult within a familial setting but consistent forgiveness for the same offense is being implied.
While the offense reappears, so too should the same gracious forgiveness.
Some other terms we should consider in this offense-forgive-repent cycle are: contrition and regret.
And, know that repentance, in every instance, works both ways because we are all sinners and apt to do the same.
People is people.
Forgiveness, like Grace is not cheap.
We are told to avoid those who continue to sin and mock your gracious forgiveness, time after time.
Since the Musk buyout, isn’t Twit now a sole proprietorship and therefore has no shareholders save Musk himself?

Is our forgiveness from God complete?
But the CIA money is still there.
Well maybe he can use that CIA money to make Twitter profitable without black funds. This is a really easy thing to do, BTW. He can sell ads all day and if he wants there are folks that will pay a premium for extras (like no ads). It’s child’s play to make a profit on such a large platform with a built in audience and Musk knows it.
Here is a difficulty I see in this line of reasoning.
Repentance is truly a gift of God and lifts the heart.
When we forgive, are we given insight as to the repentance status of the offender?
Can we apply some sort of test that meets a standard?
Yes, God’s righteousness was fully imputed by Christ.
That phrase should be understood in the reality of the eschaton.
No one’s salvation is dependent on OUR forgiveness of them.
Our forgiveness is not perfect, either.
It is rather, a foul, stinking mess of sewage in comparison.
You ask, “Is our forgiveness from God complete?”
I answer “Yes” but that “completion” is not “now” but “will be” on Christ’s return.
Simil iustus et peccatore.
:: He can sell ads all day ::
As I’ve said before, since WW2, the CIA has been the largest Venture Capital provider in the United States.
Who are the cut-outs to deny their advertising money?
Too perfect. I will be using that, henceforth, right along side of [z]-*Elinsky. Short & sweet method for defining an identity. 👤

The WHOLE message of the Bible is repent and turn to God. The Prophets preached it, John preached it, Jesus preached it, the Apostles preached it.
I NEVER said it was related to salvation, that is your words. Gods salvation is very much a mystery
MY issue is completeness. It is very worthwhile to reflect on repentance as well as forgiveness.
You cannot fully understand the love mercy and forgiveness until you fully understand what you deserve. I use the word fully, but it is more like glimpses because of our human nature.
I am a man of unclean lips, I come from a people of unclean lips.
We do not live at the verse, but it is good to visit it quite often. Our relationship with God deepens greatly when forgiveness also includes some thinking on repentance.
Not only am I using that word far more often, I hear it from others I never expected to...and its glorious!

Over the course of the night more Iranian made kamikaze drones hit Kiev’s critical grid system making them unrepairable before this coming winter.
Thanks for the ping, FRiend. Interesting, indeed.
Please, Lord, rescue Your Church.
I love Naomi Wolf. This seems weird being that she advised demoncrat swamp creatures for decades.
Her trip from the demoncrat dark side, over to the light, has been interesting to see, as I have watched her from her first tentative appearance on Bannon’s War Room two years ago, to her current appearances as a team mate in the fight for freedom.
If I miss War Room, I search her name on BitChute to find her latest reporting on the hidden horrors in the Pfizer documents that big pharma wanted deep-sixed for 75 years.
That article you posted was so good. I share her feelings on the 2 years of human rights violations that non-Sheeple like me suffered. I quit my job over masking, and I quit the day after BiteEm declared forced vaxxing for big companies. If anyone tries to inject me, I’ve got a lead injection for them.
Naomi is so pretty.. and I think a throwback to my own image of the useless, classic hippie.
That hippy image of mine is perhaos too stereotypical, but it’s one filled with those who lived life behind a pair of rose colored Liberal glasses; peace, free love, music and smoke, academies, and in no small number from a measure of urban privilege.
Still, longing for a world
draped in pleasant pink, Naomi has come smack up against world Reality, mankind and strife, eclipse and precipice, mostly sounding lost and disallusioned, but hoping it sounds virtuous.
PS: My antenna detected her possible hat tip to Steve Bannon. They have a certain respect for one another.
She referred to something in that essay, saying... “as counting the Rosary beads”. (PP badly).
Idk, but I think she is not Catholic and may or may not be churched at all, while Steve is one proudly and active Catholic, here and abroad.
Maybe may be impressed that Steve keeps his background mantle, seen over his right shoulder, with framed pictures of Jesus and Mary, especially now, when the captured Vatican is host to open apostasy.
Just a data point, as they say. Idk.
Thanks! I had to fiddle with the Google translation a bit to make it rhyme.
