Here is a difficulty I see in this line of reasoning.
Repentance is truly a gift of God and lifts the heart.
When we forgive, are we given insight as to the repentance status of the offender?
Can we apply some sort of test that meets a standard?
Yes, God’s righteousness was fully imputed by Christ.
That phrase should be understood in the reality of the eschaton.
No one’s salvation is dependent on OUR forgiveness of them.
Our forgiveness is not perfect, either.
It is rather, a foul, stinking mess of sewage in comparison.
You ask, “Is our forgiveness from God complete?”
I answer “Yes” but that “completion” is not “now” but “will be” on Christ’s return.
