RIVIERA BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — A credit card that "must have fallen out of her bag" turned a woman into a crime victim.
That card was used at a food and liquor store on President Barack Obama Highway in Riviera Beach, and some other places.
Police went there on the evening of Saturday, Sept. 24, and met up with a mother and daughter. The two have a joint account together which was attached to the daughter’s debit card. The daughter said she keeps it in her purse, and she last saw it the day before.
Still, charges were being made.
An officer wrote in the arrest report, "I was able to gain access to the security footage of the male that used the card without the consent of the cardholder."
The officer described the guy and added, "The store clerk advised that he had never seen the male in the store before, suggesting to me that the male was not a regular at the store. On the video, he was wearing a white shirt with multicolored Hawaiian-style shorts with multicolored sandals."
How many transactions would a thief make in two days?

I know where my wallet is at all times. Geeze i even have nightmares of loosing it. As soon as there is any possibility of a card being lost/stolen I’m cancelling it and ordering a replacement. I cancel and replace all cards every 6 months or so as a rule too. Scammers are EvErYwHeRe!!

President Barak Obama highway used to be called Dixie Highway, but Riviera Beach’s demographic is such that the demand to rename it was expected. I do note that there isn’t a President Donald Trump highway in either Riviera Beach, West Palm Beach or Palm Beach

We still have a Big Lots here in Warrington, FL.
